Hot tub views of ButtermilkPosted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: The service was great. The restaurant was nice, reasonably priced. Hot tub and pool were clean.
Cons: The DVD player in the room did not work. The corners of the bathroom were grody- not very clean, and random trash in one of the drawers.
Came up for a few nights for a mini vacation, we did not ski, but did enjoy a hike up Smugglers Road. Highlight of the hotel was sitting in the hot tub watching the skiers at Buttermilk just steps away. We had a ground floor room and the outside door opened right onto the parking lot, very convenient. Shuttle service to Aspen was fantastic. The driver was very friendly and offered great recommendations and door-to-door service.

Pros: new rennovated rooms, beds and the best recliner ever. heated bath floors!
Cons: not a big fan of the walk in shower, too breezy
Location: easy to find and get to anyplace nearby
glad we found this recently rennovated hotel, right at base of Buttermilk. easy to get to from anywhere.

Inn at Aspen Good for location but not for luxuryPosted Jan 7, 2015
This hotel is nice because it is right off the slopes. The rooms are ok but beds are hard. The restaurant has great food and drink, the bartender services is very slow! I would stay here again because it is convenient for skiing and the slopes are literally outside your back door! The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the shuttle service into and from town is awesome!

Aspen AffordablePosted Dec 30, 2014
Cons: Hooks to hang towels. Safe in the room.
Location: Great skiing. Great shopping in town. Wonderful restaurants, but expensive. Fantastic food at Element 47 (Little Nell) at the base of Ajax.
Basic room, but comfortable. At the base of Buttermilk. Great staff. Van service on call for airport and downtown. Close to Bus stop (free)

The hotel is under construction, so the pictures on their site is not accurate.

Works great for Me!Posted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: For me the location works well, as have family in the area and can walk to their home. The rates are better as NOT directly in Aspen or Snowmass.
Cons: New mattresses and sleeping Pillows....the queen mattress seemed old and worn, and the sleeping pillows were very small and flat....and only 2 of them
Location: Only a short drive to downtown Aspen, or Snowmass Village, plus this hotel sits at the base of a major ski area. Hotel provided shuttle a plus.
I have stayed at the Inn at Aspen many times, and enjoyed the updated rooms and new lobby area. The rooms are nicely appointed with pleasing decor and modern touches, but feel the beds and bed pillows were forgotten in the major renovation. Everything about the hotel and rooms are great though, and especially like the fact that most, if not all come with refrigerators and a mini kitchen. I had asked for a late check-out and they did accommodate that request which was nice. Front desk staff pleasant and accommodating, no issues in the room at all...except maybe updating the mattresses. Also very nice and friendly housekeeping employees who always said hello in the hallway. Always a favorite hotel for me.
