The location is 20 feet from the mall and is perfect for quickly getting on the slopes. The hotel has no elevator so getting around could be a little hard for those with disabilities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is a no-frills, clean, spacious inn and I would definitely return.

Great location
Hotel has a great location, close to mall, bus stations, mountain, restaurants, etc. Hotel is old but cozy. No A/C , you think you wont need it on winter to sleep but yes you need it..... You heard every single movement from next door and up floor....horrible.... We couldn't make it to the free breakfast because it's so early (7-9) . But they have coffee and hot chocolate all day long and i love it!!! No elevator, so you need to carry your heavy luggage ... Customer service was great, they answered all my questions and helped me with important details to have a better staying. I know Aspen is expensive but I think this hotel was overpriced.

Yes sadly most all hotels in the Snowmass Aspen area do not have A/C, only newer higher end hotels and condos have A/C in the Valley. On all of our booking sites we make sure to list there is not an elevator on the property. We do offer to help our guests with any bags during their stay.

Great property in the middle of it all in Snowmass. Breakfast is lack luster, but a good cafe is across the street. I didn't see an elevator and rooms are on multiple levels. From a security stand point, my room's exterior door didn't have a deadbolt and they still use traditional keys. Some travelers, might feel uncomfortable not having a door that is not as secure as some other hotels.

We are an older hotel, and yes unfortunately we do not have an elevator. There are 2 levels in the building that are street level, so stairs (at most times) can be avoided. As for security....this is not downtown large city, Snowmass Village and our property are very safe. I have not had any security issues for all of the 23 years I have enjoyed working here. I understand people who visit are not used to this type of environment (sad at times the way the world can be) but rest assured the Pokolodi Lodge is safe. With outside walkways and doors and the major changes of temperatures and air....magnetic keys would not work well in these conditions. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for the review! Our doors do lock, once the door is shut it will automatically lock. Therefore a key to your specific room is needed to unlock the room door.

This was our second time to stay here & both times have been great. The staff is very helpful & courteous. In fact, the first room we were in was not heating up so they moved us with no problem to another room. Jose who works at the front desk is very nice & helpful. They have a good sized pool & hot tub with great views of the mountains around it. The hotel is right across the road from Snowmass Mall, which is great. And, you are just a very short walk to the shuttle pickup area. The only downside we can see is that it would be nice if their breakfast has some better options other than a mountain of carbs (bagels, oatmeal, cereal, bread, english muffins, etc.) some sausage or even eggs would be better.

This is an older property but it seemed very clean and was well maintained. Our room was nice and came with a fireplace. We didn't use it but in the winter that would be a nice option to have. It also comes with a continental breakfast. We used the heated pool and hot tub one night which was great after a day of hiking. This lodge is also directly accross the street from the mall which has several places to eat. We were there when the town was shutting down for the summer season so out dining options were limited but there were a few to pick from.

Getting into the unit requires stairs and the parking is a walk (as it is with all buildings in this complex). An economical stay at the last minute. It worked!

The pictures are not accurate on their website. The rooms are old and have not been updated. The bedroom and especially the bathroom is very small. The beds are not comfortable. The donuts were not fresh. We will not be staying here again.

This an older property. Definitely built with skiers in mind. Overall even though its a little dated it’s very functional and reasonably priced for the Aspen area.

The Lodge was close to all the places we wanted to see. The staff was very pleasant and efficient, especially Allie at the front desk. She was always cheerful and helpful. She gave us great advice about the best hiking trails and places to eat.
