Nice hotel in the heart of aspen

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Hotel was good except that the door to my room would not unlock and the window would not close, letting in the cold air and wind all note long. Maintenance staff needs to do a better job of upkeep on this motel. I was disappointed to say the least.

Trevligt hotel i Aspen

Posted Mar 29, 2015 on Hotels

Great Hotel in Convenient Location

Posted Mar 27, 2015 on Hotels
We loved it! The hotel is in a great location walking distance to the town of Aspen & ski-area shuttle stops. It's not overly fancy, but affordable, clean, and nice. The heated pool and afternoon snacks were fun. Breakfast is good, get there early-ish for the best selection.

St. Moriz

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Location wasn't that bad
Cons: The Hotel needs to be upgraded badly.
Location: Near the town, and over looks the mountain
The bathroom was too small, no other mirrors in the room. The granite counter top fell off, no elevator. Very noisy all night, terrible breakfast and coffee.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear of the issues, not sure what counter top fell off, 99% of time we get very good comments on our Cont. breakfast, especially with our fresh cut fruit. We must have run out of some items or something. Not sure want room type you were in but the lodge rooms have full length closet door mirrors. Maybe on your next visit gives another try.

Affordable Aspen Comfort

Affordable option for the area. Friendly staff. Nice huge hot pool right outside room. Had a large group of drunk people surrounding our room whom were out of control @ 3-4 am :)

Sorry hear about the noise level, we do have onsite mangers, not sure if you tried to call so they could come and get the loud people into their rooms. Hope to see you on your next visit. l

Cheap Skiing hotel

Posted Mar 6, 2015
I booked online through Expedia and it was unclear to me, a regular user of Expedia, that I was booking a Hostel room with three small crummy beds, no tv, phone or bathroom in the room. A dirty public bathroom with one shower down the hall was my only option. For a few dollars more I could have, and would have booked a private room. The hotel was booked so I spent the first night in the hostel room, or HOSTILE room as it turns out. Barely slept at all. Hotel staff was gracious, moved me the next day, and the queen room was much better, but the tile in the bathroom was all coming up and it looked like that wasn't new at all, just ignored. Decent place for the money, with great staff, but older facility not well kept. Know that going in and you will be fine.

The Hostel Rates come up first and people get excited about a $60.00 night rate in Aspen and don''t read the full description that it;s a shared room with with shared bathroom. Great way to enjoy Aspen, provided you know what your booking. When that happens then the guest shows up and realize that they don't have a reg lodge room. When that happens we try to accommodate them in a lodge room and reduce the rate as best we can to make them happy.

Sure, no brainer for fair price in Aspen

Amazing jacuzzi (very large). Room was disappointing. Breakfast was less then mediocre. But who cares, you are in Aspen.
