A great location in the mountains.Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Close to the Snowmass mall, and Aspen.
Location: In Snowmass, the Snowmastodon Museum (small but informative), hiking trails, glorious mountain weather. Aspen is 12 miles away.
Snowmass is a pleasant mountain community. But other than outdoor activities, there is not much else to do there but shop in the few stores in the mall and lower village. Fortunately, Aspen is 12 miles away, and offers museums, lots of shopping (expensive) and hundreds of restaurants and drinking establishments to fit every need and pocketbook. A visit to the Maroon Bells is mandatory! Two local ghost towns are interesting. The new Aspen Art Museum is has a rotating series of art. The Hayden/Marolt museum explores the early days (1890) of mining in Aspen.

Just a clean room to sleep in.Posted Aug 10, 2014
An older hotel and is obvious that it is an old aging building. No full spa for a nice romantic getaway. This place was really a disappointment compared to other stays I've had in other Colorado resorts.

Booked a hotel suite. Was told I was "upgraded to a two bedroom condo. Told them at check-in I would rather have the suite. Was told they were already checked out even though it was before check-in time . They apparently overbooked multiple day guest. They offered nothing but gave me the managers card. Won't be back.

Pros: Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
We asked for a room with a great view and they acknowledged our request at check in. We were on the top floor looking out at the beautiful mountain views.

1st Trip to ColoradoPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: The bathtub. The expensive food.
Cons: New hallway carpet Paint the hallways New comfortable room chairs
Location: The Snowmass Mammoth exhibit in Snowmass Village was very interesting. $20.00 gondola ride was tempting but waited for the free one in Telluride.
Hotel had a nice view of the mountains, unfortunately other condos were also in that view. The facility is old, needs serious updating especially with the hall carpet. Chair in the room were uncomfortable to relax in but the bathroom with its long tub was nice. Bathroom amenities were full sized but you're charged if you take them (not worth it, I used my own s/c after trying theirs). Restaurant on premise is expensive, no alternatives. Close by restaurants do deliver but close down around 9pm. The food was very good at the restaurant but be aware its a $11-$14 hamburger & fries. Staff was nice but not very outgoing. The bus trip to Aspen took longer than we were led to believe. Next time we would drive ourselves. The rate in the off-season was good ($113) but because of the age & outdated facilities, we most likely would try something else.

Great staffPosted Aug 5, 2014
Everyone at the Stonebridge was courteous and professional. The Artisan staff was exceptional! They lit a heater and even brought out blankets when we got chilly eating dessert on the patio. The pool guy was awesome and helpful. Really enjoyed everyone we met there.

Good hotel on the slopes of SnowmassPosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The location, on the slopes of Snowmass. The reasonable price we got through Expedia.
Cons: I wish the hotel rooms had been built with balconies, or had been remodeled to add them.
Location: Snowmass. Aspen. Enough said.
We have stayed at the Stonebridge Inn several times over the years, and it's still what it has always been -- a good hotel in a great location. It has been updated over the years, making the rooms comfortable and pleasing. One key tip for others staying there: ask for a room away from the front of the hotel, where the noise of people talking and hotel vans and a motorcycle woke us up in the middle of the night. You're coming to Snowmass for quiet, and you need to keep your windows open in the summer because there is no air conditioning. So get a room facing the mountain.

Beautiful view. Great staff. Clean rooms.Posted Jul 29, 2014
Great staff, view, and rooms. Our room was by the bus stop and parking lot so unfortunately not much sleep because of the noise. Room was too warm With just fan and window.
