Great Hotel in AthensPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Location, spacious rooms, friendly staff
The hotel is located in a hip neighbourhood with several restaurants, markets and shopping nearby. The parthenon and many other attractions are within walking distance, the Metro and Train Station with trains to the Port of Piraeus and the Airport is a few steps away. Great, Clean Hotel with spacious rooms, very friendly staff and a restaurant/bar with a great view.

Amazing rooftop view but rooms just okayPosted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Rooftop bar
Cons: Decor of reception and rooms. Open blinds in the breakfast room!
Location: Monastiraki is very central to anything which most tourists would look for. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby and in Plaka.
The rooftop bar has a wonderful view of the Acropolis - however, there are many rooftop bars in Athens plus you do not need to stay at the hotel to go to the bar. The reception staff were very friendly. The reception area is like a cheap hostel reception - not really an issue, but many other very central hotels in Athens have tried harder (and cost less). The room which we were given was very large, but furnished like an office. I am generally very happy to stay in modern or plain rooms but this one just lacked something. Again, if it had been 30 Euros cheaper it would have been good. Position of the hotel is right on Monastiraki square - a very central but a bit seedy location.

Excellent location, near the AcropolisPosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Location, clean, friendly staff.
Cons: The place could use a few art objwcts, to brighten it up.
Location: Acropolis, Monastiraki Square, shopping in the old city.
The location is excellent, especially if you want to move about the city by Metro. The hotel is right next to a Metro station, that serves two of the three lines. However, finding the place the first time was tricky, as the hotel's presentation to the street was minimal. The Acropolis is an easy walk, and the nearby Monastiraki Square is interesting. The interior was very clean, but somewhat spartan. No wall decorations whatever. The room was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The real treat was the rooftop lounge, which served as the breakfast dining area in the morning and a nightspot later. The rooftop lounge attracts a large twenty-something crowd - suggest finding a table early if you want to see the sunset light on the Acropolis.

Well placed HotelPosted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: The location, the staff and service.
Cons: No, All good
Location: Walking distance to many bars and restaurants, lots of markets and shops, monuments and tourists sites, etc or you can use the buses.
A for Athens is conveniently located right near a Monastiraki train station in the line from the airport. Cost €8 each to get from Airport to Hotel and once out of station the hotel is just in front of you. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location close to the major attractions and lots of places to eat and shops all around.. Very buzzing Plaka across the road and popular cafe bar on the roof. But this did not bother us in our room, we could only just hear the music. Really enjoyed the stay here. Thank you..

Most hip hotel in Athens!Posted Aug 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Outstanding boutique hotel. Get anAcropolis view room! You won't want to leave the balcony. Nice rooms and bathrooms. High floors will be noisy as the fabulous roof bar is very popular but the view is outstanding! Great staff!
