Friendly hotel close to attractionsPosted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: Location. Staff. Breakfast
Location: Acropolis, Hadrian's Arch, Temple of Zeus... Metro station close as well. Bus stop to airport close as well.
The hotel is within walking distance of lots of attractions. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great value for money. Breakfast at the hotel was 5 euro and good value. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Convenient locationPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, great view from the balcony, in-room fridge.
Cons: New mattress, softer pillows, a shower curtain, and drop the charge for the in-room safe.
Location: Great for the Acropolis, Acropolis museum, Filopappos Hill, Plaka, Syntagma Square, National Gardens, Kallimarmaro Stadium, and the First Cemetery.
I booked this hotel for a long weekend break in Athens, and it proved to be a very convenient base for exploring the city. It was very reasonably priced, and only a short walk to the Acropolis and Plaka district. It's also only a short walk from Sygrou Fix metro station, though initially the hotel was difficult to find as it's located on one of many tiny, steep side streets. My room had a large balcony with a great view of the Acropolis. I was disappointed that there was an additional charge for the in-room safe, but the fridge was a bonus. I'm not usually fussy where cheap accommodation is concerned, but the mattress was ridiculously soft, and the pillows were rock hard. The walls are also incredibly thin, and I was unfortunate enough to be next door to a couple who enjoyed showering in the middle of the night. Great singing voices though! Speaking of showers, the bathroom is more of a wet room, with no distinct shower - as a result, everything in there gets soaked. On the whole, a decent stay, especially for the money. That said, I was very disappointed on my last day when I went for a morning walk (9am) prior to the midday check out, and was stopped by the guy on reception who told me I should be checking out there and then. He also asked me for the room key, informing me that the room would need cleaning. I received an accompanying dirty look when I informed him that the key would stay with me until I checked out later that morning. Alas, not a nice end to my stay.

PositionPosted Feb 12, 2014
Cons: Room size and facilities
Location: Nothing near by only two main roads
The Hotel room was tiny with an office desk and chair, the chair you could not sit on as the room was so small it would not pull out. The Hotel had no bar that was open and no restaurant. It was in a residential area which also had no restaurants. It was not that close to the acropolis but that was not a problem as it was a steady walk. Although I paid for three nights I left after two.

Great hotel in good locationPosted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Location helpfulness of the staff
Location: Great near the acropolis
Only stayed for one night and the hotel was fine ,the staff very good couldn't do enough to help you - went out of their way to find a good restaurant for our party of 10 ringing round 3/4 restaurants until they found one to accommodate us! Very clean rooms small but more than adequate , great value for money!!!

Short walk to major ruins.Posted Jan 31, 2014
Cons: WiFi internet access. Breakfast
Location: Most major ruins, tram, busses and Metro close.
Need internet access in business center. Shower stall cramped. Real toilet. Only one chair. View limited to a peek. Breakfast way overpriced.

Small rooms, cozy stayPosted Jan 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms are very small, you have difficulties pulling out a chair. Bathroom is decently sized and overall the room was very clean. Close proximity to most of the Athens attractions. It's located on a small street up a little hill, we had difficulties finding temporary parking.

Great location, great servicePosted Jan 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Acopoli, Plaka and other great tourist-destinations, and at the same time far enough away that you can actually feel you're not the typical tourist. Located in a very charming neighbourhood, and close to metro-stations, loads of great food places, even late at night. Commute anywhere you wanna go is easy, and the hotel has a very chilled out and calm athmosphere with very helpful staff whenever you need. Loved it.

Good Choice for money&quality ratePosted Jan 2, 2014
We stayed at this Hotel 4 nights. Location, Hotel staff, Hotel Roof View was perfect. It is good for travellers, families, and young couples. If you wanna stay Athens in less prices with mid quality this is good choice. Minus points are the room size was small and the Hotel street which is little bit on the ramp almost 30 meter.
