“Excellent location”
Great location in a very safe area, 5 minutes from metro Acropoli station. Very close to the Plaka and Acropolis complex. Nice walk and felt safe returning back to hotel late in the evening. Very good room service who kept the room very clean everyday. Reception staffs were extremely helpful and all spoke english. Because of the location either we used metro or walked. Certainly would stay there again.
“Good Hotel, Top Staff!!!”
We got to the hotel 3am and the staff were most welcoming and helpful. Its just a few minutes walk away from the Acropolis station and not too far from the Parthenon or Plaka, two must see palces. The hotel itself was nice and the breakfast was good too! Would definately stay here again! recommended!
“Best Value”
I have stayed in this hotel many times. The standard is consistently high, and the position, underneath the Acropolis is unbeatable.
“Ideally situated”
Situated at the foot of the Acropolis this hotel is ideally placed for all the main tourist attractions in Athens. Everything is within walking distance and the 'Plaka' area which is full of shops and restaurants was just around the corner. The hotel itself was well maintained, clean and friendly. The room we stayed in was a tad on the small size but having said that more than suited purpose, was clean and had everything we required. For a city break I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
“Great Location, Good Price”
Airotel Parthenon has a great location within a pedestrian only area -- a bit hard for a cab to get there, but a block or so from Athens Metro stop. Restaurants and souvenirs up the street, go around the corner for walking street below the Parthenon and to the new museum. Other direction is a major Athens street skirting Hadrian's Arch and agora. Price much less than Divani Palace Acropolis that is within walking distance. Rooms are okay in size, breakfast good selection. Clean, comfortable, English-speaking night and day staff. Arrived about 4 a.m. with advance warning of late arrival to hotel -- no problem other than cabbie needed to look at map before finding it. No view from the room but who wants to stay inside the hotel room much in Athens? Windows open for fresh air.
“Very resonable”
Excellent location though a little expensive
“Great Hotel in an unbelievably convinient location.”
Not much to say. Clean, comfortable and fairly priced for the location. You're basically 2 minutes walking distance from the Acropolis and all the sights you really need to see in the historical part of Athens. If you are only in town for a few days and need to be close to the major attractions, this is the place to stay at. It's not a luxury spot by any stretch, but it's very nice for the money. Wired internet is free and it's super close to the subway station. If you're coming in from the airport, this is great, because it's like 2 minutes walk from the metro.
“Good location to sites and metro”
The hotel was steps from the south entrance to the Acropolis and the metro station. Staff helpful at the desk and the breakfast was just fine. Even though the location was terrific (less than a block from Planket Square) the rate a bit high for October but we would consider returning.
“fantastic location and service”
the staff were fantastic, helpful, and courteous. the hotel was nice and the location was perfect. the breakfast was just right. we were in the non-smoking side, but i think the maid smoked in her supply closet, so occasionally we had cigarette smoke filtering in our room on the 4th floor. no big deal, but it is the only reason for the 4 versus the 5 for some of the review.
“Excellent Location”
Excellent location, would go back tomorrow. I would recommend this hotel to all. Clean, friendly staff and most of all close to shopping, attractions and restaurants. Overall I would rate this hotel as excellent. Murray
