A Nice Medium priced hotel

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Stayed 2 nights The Hotel was reasonably clean,Staff friendly & helpful though the carpets need a re-do. Its close to the Station and Syntagma Sq and some attractions. Its ideally located to all amenities. The breakfast was also satisfying & would stay there again ifI visit Athens

Amazing views of the Parthenon

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Views of the Parthenon
Cons: Free wifi in the room
Location: Perfect location to all tourist attractions and metro stations
Too bad the reception staff are always too busy and a little brusque, otherwise this would be an amazing hotel. Well situated and with amazing views of the Parthenon. Free wifi in the lobby but not in the rooms

A good central option

A no fuss option - neat, clean hotel & close to the action but not too close! It was lovely to be offered a 'breakfast pack' to go, because I had to check out early & miss the breakfast session.

2 star at best

Posted Jul 3, 2014
This hotel promotes themselves a a 4 star. Don't be fooled. They are dirty, their lobby chairs and couches as well as their room comforter and other areas are very worn. They charge by the HOUR for internet so everyone is sitting in the lobby checking internet.

Great view from the balcony

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Location and views.
Cons: No iron and very firm bed.
Location: Just about 2 blocks from Syntagma Square (Parliament) and within walking distance from any major tourist sites in the city.
My husband and I spent 3 nights in this hotel, and the location was great. It is located just a couple blocks from Syntagma Square. Our room was on the top floor, and the view of the acropolis from our balcony was pretty amazing. Breakfast was complimentary and complete with scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, cereal (mostly granola) and juice as well as cucumbers, feta, greek yogurt, and other fresh fruits. The restaurant where breakfast is served is on the very top floor of the hotel, and there are great views of the acropolis from there as well. We were able to walk to any of the major tourist sites from this hotel, and the stay was overall enjoyable.

superb views of the Acropolis.

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: the views, central location
Location: take an open topped bus to see the sights - hop on and hop off. buy tickets at the hotel reception.
very pleasant stay just a few metres from Syntagma Square and easy walk from trains buses and all the sights. Excellent view from the dining room. Unfortunately we didn't get a room facing the Acropolis but worth asking. reasonably quiet considering the central location.

handy hotel to lots of sites

Posted May 27, 2014
the hotel staff wasn't bad, weren't great, just o.k. the rooms (I had two different ones) were clean. the bigger one was nice. the smaller one could use some up keep-wall paper falling down. The breakfast was really good. and like I said, the hotel is close to lots of sites.

The hotel has a good location and good facilities, room is clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't feel good is morning breakfast pack out. We have to leave 6 am but BF starts 6:30. The hotel said will pack BF for us, but for three of us we only got 3 small rolls and three small slides cake. No drinks, no fruits and no ham or other cold cut meat, quite disappointed with the BF pack-out.

Close to Plaka

Posted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
About a 15 minute walk to the Plaka. This hotel is kind of old but does the job for 1 night layover in Athens. It is close to nice restaurants, shops, and nightlife. It is a far walk from Acropolis subway exit with your luggage. Without luggage it is not so bad.

Good Location and Hotel

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Location, Breakfast, Cleaniness, Staff
Cons: The interior of the rooms as wallpapers and beds to be renovated.
Location: Very Good location for tourism: near Metro Station, Syntagma Square, National Garden, Parliement, touristic train hop on hop off, Ermou shopping stree
Very Good Location in the center of Athens. Staff very helpful and kind. 1min walk from Ermou Street and 4min from Monastiraki. Syntagma Square and metro station are less then 1min walk from the Hotel. Very suitable for families touristic visits.
