“Atrium”

Generally good experience, nice room, but breakfasts could have been better (more variety of food and no desserts) and it was difficult to get wi-fi range.

“Athens in October 2010”

This is quaint hotel located in a residential area. There are small shops and is within 10 minutes walk to the Hotel Intercontinental lobby (meeting point) if you are taking one of the half day or day tours. There are buses that will take you to the various tourist sites, and also to get to the subway. If you are going on a cruise, the trip is 5 minutes by taxi to the port. One unusual item - the bath tub sometimes does not have a glass screen. The water pressure is low. If you are not in a rush this is OK. Two stars out of five.

“Very nice staff and great breakfast”

The front desk guys were very nice and helpful. Gave us bus information and restaurant suggestions. Lobby has wi fi connection which is great but the rooms do not... The location is slightly away from the main attractions in Athens but not too far with a cab or local bus which happens to conveniently stop close by. It's a little far from the airport and this can make the ride back to airport a little pricey, about 50 euros. There are a few restaurants and cafes close by so we waled there every night we were there. The hotel room itself was adequate, and the breakfast was pretty good. Overall a good hotel for the price.

“rebooked for our retuen journey!”

reception were first class, friendly, helpful and communicative. we loved our room. despite the broken safe and warm fridge. We struggled getting our car out of the garage, but were soon rescued by three really helpful members of staff.

“Pleasant Hotel”

We enjoyed our stay at the Atrium Hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious for 2 adults and a teenager. It was very clean and the whole hotel was inviting. The buffet breakfast was of good quality and regularly attended to. It is only a short bus ride to the centre. We were pleased with our choice.

“Athens Stay”

Very nice stay in Athens. Hotel was nice but the cleaning team likes to get started early and they are loud. Many of the rooms do not have a tub only a very small shower. Quite a distance from the downtown shopping areas also. We rented a car that was very good price. Easy to get around if you know how to drive a stick shift.

“Athens Atrium Hotel.”

Like Athens itself, the Atrium is pleasant enough but could use a bit of sprucing up. We were a family of four (two adults, two children 11 and 9), and stayed in two double rooms that were "connected" via a small, inner foyer between the two rooms that could be closed off from the hallway. This set-up worked well for us and we did enjoy very good privacy, especially when the foyer door was closed to the outside hallway. The staff was also kind enough to give us the key to that door so we could actually lock it and keep both room doors open with no privacy or intruder concerns. This "connected" room arrangement is very good for families or parties traveling together but in separate rooms. The hotel is in a neighborhood away from the main Plaka and Acropolis area. We did not mind this although for those who want to be "in the thick of things", this hotel would not be a good choice. There is a free shuttle to the Acropolis area but it was only available once during our entire two and a half day stay. Otherwise, one has the option of walking about 15-20 minutes to the Segrou-Fix metro stop or taking a cab there for anywhere from 3-5 euros. Once there, it is a short, one-stop ride to the Plaka and Acropolis area. One last comment concerns the buffet breakfast, which we thought rather inadequate for a purported 4-star hotel. Overall, an average 4-star hotel, or maybe more realistically, a 3.5 star hotel.

“Atrium”

Good experience. Good location for walking to tourist sites in Athens. Breakfast was OK. Nothing really special, but no problems either.

“Good hotel close to city center”

It`s a nice hotel, not far away from center of the city (about 3km). There is a bus and tram station close to hotel. Hotel is fine, quiet and clean, but breakfast is a little bit boring. Almost every day same food. It`s tasty and fresh, but same kind of cheese, sausage, fruit juice day after day is dull.

“Clean and friendly”

Atrium Hotel is of very good value. Staff is friendly and helpful and rooms are very clean. TV and free internet working well. The only drawback is the location, a bit far from the old center.
