“Nice 1 bedroom apartment in a nice location”

Our family of 4 stayed in Apartment 2 for three nights. It is an L-shaped apartment with a double bed at one end of the L, two singles at the other end, with a couch and small dining table at the base; a curtain separated out the double bed part from the rest of the apartment. The bathroom was OK, the kitchen was nice, and there is a shady garden outside with tables and chairs where we would sit and have our morning coffee. When we got there the owners were out of town, but we were warmly welcomed by Yvonne who also helped us with maps, restaurant recommendations etc. The apartments are at a quiet location within 2 minutes of the Panathenaic Stadium, and about a 15 minute walk from the Acropolis. There is a grocery store, a bakery, and tavernas within a short distance. All in all, a nice place to stay, and we will be staying there again if we go back to Athens.
