Simple and affordable hotel near Syntagma SquarePosted Jul 17, 2013
Pros: The staff was friendly and professional and answered all of our questions. The location was very convenient.
Location: A lot of nice cafes and restaurants nearby.
My best friend and I stayed here for 2 nights while we were passing through Athens, Greece. The best part about this hotel is it's location. It was close to another hotel where we were picked up for a day tour to Delphi. It's less than a 15 minute walk from Syntagma Square, which is where you get dropped off if you take the X95 bus from the airport. It's also walking distance to many restaurants in the Plaka and Acropolis area. It's also pretty quiet at night so you can get a good rest.

Athos HotelPosted Apr 22, 2013
Pros: The view from the terrace and the quality of the staff
Cons: The beds were very old and VERY hard for 60 year old bones
Location: Central to everything
The hotel is old but really quite delightful. The location for several days in Athens couldn't be improved. It is easy walking to all main sights if Athens. Our favorite part was the view from the 6th floor terrace. Magnificent view of the A to polis at night. We bought carry out and a bottle of wine and had a picnic. It was lovely.

Great value for city centrePosted Oct 23, 2012
Pros: Easy access to lots of visitor attractions
Cons: Outlook from our room was not particularly attractive!
Location: Close to Acropolis, Agora and 20 minute walk from museum. The hotel is not in a particularly attractive street but It is a safe area.
Quiet situation, close to Plaka area, extremely handy for bus to airport. Very good value for a city centre hotel.

Plaka and Parliament Just Steps AwayPosted May 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
Welcoming and immensely convenient. Fewer than 20 rooms, some with Acropolis view. Very reasonable. Not a luxury hotel, but has everything most travelers need.

Great location, good value, friendly staffPosted Jul 7, 2010
Friendly staff and nice lobby. Immaculate, newly remodeled bathroom. Brand new french doors to outside balcony with Acropolis views. Nice rooftop patio with plenty of tables and chairs. Great location! Immediate neighborhood a little "gritty" but did not feel uncomfortable walking around at night. Just a few blocks to the pedestrian streets which lead to the Acropolis. Woman working the morning shift helped me confirm my flight home, first by letting me use her computer then by making some phone calls for me.

Terrific location & viewPosted Jun 4, 2008
This is a small, 18 room hotel. Terrific location in Plaka, near great shopping and tavernas and walking distance to the Acropolis. I felt very safe in this neighborhood. I had the best room - the only room on the 6th floor with a fantastic balcony with views of the Acropolis. Small room, but great balcony. Very clean hotel, pleasant staff and a good breakfast buffet. Staff spoke excellent English. Elevator only goes to the 5th floor, so a small inconvenience being on the 6th but worth it for the balcony view.
