“Last resort”
Good location to walk to game. But not nice hotel.
“how 'bout them dawgs?”
very handy to UGa campus.
“Like Cold Showers”
Every morning I had about 5 mins of hot water. When I comlained the front desk said they didn't knwo what to tell me. When they took my TV remote when they changed the sheets the front desk told me, well I didn't change your sheets. I am not normally a picky person, but this hotel is the worst one I have ever stayed in including those I have stayed at in third world countries.
“Decent enough”
Basic, decent, clean rooms at an economical price. Breakfast left much to be desired -- juice dispenser not working, limited selection breakfast items of the microwavable variety.
“'Not Impressed'”
Needs updates and location was not as comfortable as other places
“Just fine”
The place was just fine for an inexpensive, one night stay that is convenient to downtown Athens. It's pretty much within walking distance of everything interesting in Athens. The room was very clean. Checked for bedbugs. Clearly the bedding is pretty new. Everything looked new and fresh. Not exactly a fashion statement but perfectly fine. There were some folks roaming around at night but nobody messed with my antique car other than flipping cigarette ashes on it from the balcony above. But that's the way most smokers are -- clueless about the world around them are careless about the microcosm of their own being. The place is in a residential area but nighttime security could be beefed up to keep people quiet and in their own rooms at night.
“Tear it down!”
Found empty coke bottle in one drawer. Garbage under the bed. Wall paper peeling off and water damage on the ceiling. This hotel might have been great in the 1970's, but needs a major overhaul now. I would only stay there as a last resort, and then reluctantly. The surrounding neighborhood is "The Hood." No visible sign from the main road, and only one small sign at the entrance. The staff was nice, but that's it. I'd recommend tearing this place down and starting over~
“Murder scene??”
As you first enter your room, you get slapped in the face with the foul odor. It smelled kinda wet and stale. Gross. Also, my bed looked like someone was stabbed in it because my cover, blanket, and sheets had a huge slash through it. On the other side, a small hole pierced through the cover, blanket, and sheets. Possibly from a bullet? Perhaps it was the scene of an attempted homicide. I'll never know for sure, but I have my suspicions.
“Not Happy with this place”
asked for hotel directions and was not given any... then i had a fight outside my door early hours of the morning no hot water in the morning when having a shower Woke up with loads of spots on my face..which i never get so have a feeling the room was filthy! The guy behind reception was not helpful and the place is a real dive...I got there and my first thoughts were that i didnt like the look of this place...
“It is good to stay there.”
This hotel is cheap though it is not as clean as many others. Overall I think it is reasonable with its price.
