central location, fairly clean, front office service was good, and the breakfast service could be better.

Pretty spartan room with a downward sloped balcony and spotty wireless connection and a rudimentary breakfast, but in a good location, very clean, and friendly staff. The pictures make it look nicer than it is, but definitely worth it if you get a good deal.

I am often confounded by how different the real life experience of a hotel is to the Expedia reviews. I am not sure what other people's expectations are, but if you are a normal family not used to drinking out of silver chalices at every meal and eating gold, you will have a delightful time at the Delice Hotel. The rooms, which are mini-apartments supplied with everything you need for a short- or medium-range stay, are spacious, comfortable and clean. Granted, like in most European hotels, the king-size bed is really just two double beds pushed together, our balcony looked out on, well, other balconies, and the free breakfast is usual continental fare, but the upsides of this hotel are many. The location is superb if you are looking to visit any major site in Athens, it is right next to a very convenient Metro station, there are excellent restaurants nearby, the area is safe, and, best of all, the English-speaking staff is extremely kind and helpful. For the price I couldn't imagine a much better experience. My wife and three-year-old daughter also felt right at home. This was a great base for an 8-night family vacation. Stay at Delice! You won't regret it.

Really this is exactly what it says on the tin, you get a balcony a nice room that is very large a small kitchen area if you want it, with a fridge and cooker, a clean bathroom new towels every day and well mannered staff. I really dont know what more you need for the price its brilliant its a just under 4* hotel and truly worth it.

The staff were polite and very helpful in allowing us to have a late checkout. The family room was very spacious and although dated the hotel certainly met our needs for a one night base in Athens prior to flying home. The metro is within walking distance but across a number of VERY busy intersections which was only a concern to us with 3 young children in tow. Didn't get the chance to explore the area but if was leafy and the locals were helpful and pleasant.

Very friendly staff, very convenient place, the restaurant nearby wins gourmet prize and I have been to there three times!

We really needed a place close to public transit that had a kitchenette, Condo-Hotel style and of the few Athens have this one was the cheapest. The price seemed just OK at the time of booking on line. However when we arrived we were told that not ALL the rooms had a kitchen and we could be upgraded to one for an extra 10 Euros per night. We did and found that the tiny kitchen didn't really have much to use at all to make meals with. The place hadn't been refurbished since the 80's maybe and was shabby and old and tattered. Simple local brand shampoo and soap samples were never replaced once used in the 4 days we stayed. I really wouldn't stay there again unless I really had to! Pros were the friendly service and the "free" morning breakfast that included fresh orange juice and a basic yet nice spread of Greek items like fresh yogurt and honey. Location is good and just a short 10 minute walk to the metro station.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and the neighbourhood felt safe. The room was basic but perfect for our needs. The hotel was close to a metro station that was 2 stops away from the city centre.

Basic furnished apartment in good area of Athens (in the middle of 2 5star hotels Hilton and Caravali Divani). The hotel is basic yet comfortable enough for a good night sleep. The breakfast is also very basic in line with what you pay. However, is situated in good neighborhood with easy access to Public transport. The two bedroom apartments had an excellent view of the Hilton hotel pool and more importantly the famous lacavatas??? mountain which I highly recommend you visit. it provides a bird eye view of Athens and see the Acropolis from the distance.

The stay was great, very roomy hotel. Two bathrooms were a plus. For the price and location this hotel was excellent. Clean and comfortable, we were 5 people and were able to have our own space. Dining room and kitchen were a great help since traveling with kids. Also breakfast was included, decent variety of things to choose from.
