Isolated and tired

Posted Sep 5, 2014
The hotel staff were great from the minute we arrived, the room was clean but very small although we have booked executive room with balcony. Pool area was nice, however the beach and pool bars shut at 6.30 so if you fancy a drink in the evening, you are left with the bar inside the hotel which is far from cozy. The hotel beach is tiny and noisy as it's close to the public beach that is noisy all day long. It is very noisy at night due to youngsters partying on the public beach all through the night! Not something you'd want to hear while on holiday. The hotel is in very isolated location and there are only 2 restaurants and 1 bar walking distance. You will need to take taxi if you want to go anywhere else or hire a car, there was no public transport nearby and the nearest shop is 15 min walk!!! Not great if you want a bottle of water for the room. Over all hotel is tired and in need of a refurb. It's not a 5* hotel.

Great hotel to relax and pamper

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Wonderful hotel great beach and poolside. Food is pricey but fresh with large quantities . My only complaint is that they have this complete equipped beautiful gym in the thalasso spa but never advise you it's 40 euros per day for use of the gym. No surprise it was empty. Dropping the steep price would be very beneficial.

Hotel close to beach

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: welcoming staff, greek food at restaurants across the street with magnificent sea view
Cons: SPA and exersize room are amazingly expensive. Add sunday shuttle. Richer breakfast. Add of playstattions, ping pong tables, biliard, water sports
Location: 4 taverns across the street with great sea view and reasonable food. Hotel offers mostly relax and sun catch. Not much more. Nearest town is 10 min
Very welcoming staff, excellent services with a smile from reception, through SPA, pool bars, bell boys. two nice outdoors pools - one of with seawater. Small private beach only minute walk form pools. Pool/beach bar service efficient. SPA facilities and exersize room that are well equipped. 3-4 taverns right across the street form teh hotel offering greek dinner at reasonable prices for touristic areas. 30min taxi drive to Athens center and less than 10 min to nearby town having shopping and more restaurants.

Mediocre hotel with bad service. The beach is very small (50 meters in length). It is next to a public beach. The water is very dirty. The poolside restaurant is decent. The pools are nice.

Over-rated, few minor glimpses of good.

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Check in experience was below average. There were two people attending the front desk. No eye contact. No welcome. Waited 15 minutes before losing my cool and cursing in Greek. Once I calmed down, check in continued. Beach is horrible and small. Dirty water. Limited chairs. Dining. Breakfast is excellent. Coffee served cold. Very expensive for a less than good hotel. "Divani palace...pote min pas". Translation: divani palace, never go there.

Uncomfortable beds and insanely expensive laundry

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Nice pool, lovely decor.
Cons: Transparency about laundry costs, more comfortable beds.
Location: This hotel is not in Athens. It is in Kiffisia, about 30 minute cab ride to Athens or 1 hour by train.
This hotel was OK. Biggest complaint - $180 Euro for one bag of laundry (one week's worth) to be cleaned, without warning of this price. This was more than the cost of the room itself for a night!

Excellent Stay

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: everything
Cons: The spa was a little overprices Shuttle to run longer hours until 21:00
Location: good and not that good far from the action but nice for relaxation
I will go back to this hotel ! The hotel is nicely decorated and has a luxury feel. Excellent Front desk service and helpful Restaurant personal were friendly and eager to help. The room was classy with beautiful decorations, and good beds The balcony has a great view. (Ask for the church view is relaxing) Breakfast was included in the price and was really good. The beach and the services on the beach were well run. The swimming pool were amazing

Nice hotel close to beach!

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Nice, clean rooms. Great swimming pools and location close to beach. Also not far from airport (scout 25-30 min taxi drive).
Friendly and helpful check in, bar and breakfast room staff. Only "hiccup" was the staff at beach bar who couldn't be bothered to serve us two coffees, even though we asked twice where they were. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
