“Great Location & Friendly Staff”

If you are looking to see the Acropolis and Shop in the Plaka this is the perfect hotel. It was clean, freindly and just what we were looking for in a vacation.

“Really Good Hotel Great Location”

We have stayed at Divani Acropolis hotel four times over the last 12 years. We go back every time because it is clean, stafff is very nice, the pool is great, and the location is FANTASTIC....close walking distance to Acropolis, the new Acropolis museum, the Plaka, and monastiraki....The roof top restaurant and bar with reach out and touch it view of the acropolis is also amazing. The only negative, at least in the room we stayed in, was the room still has carpeting and it is old and needs to be replaced.

“Exceptional!”

This hotel was beautiful. Location was great. Pool was wonderful. Rooms were huge and very nice. Beds were very comfortable for European beds. The room had two balconies which was really nice. The bar was elegant and the service was really, really good! I will definitely go back there.

“Great Hotel in Ancient Athens”

Perfect location near the Acropolis/ Plaka area. Spacious suite with fantastic shower/bath facility. Would not recommend the roof-top dining. There are nicer views from other restaurants in the area. Five minute walk uo the hill to the Acropolis.

“Authentic, comfortable hotel in Athens”

This feels more like a Greek hotel than a displaced hotel from the States. Our friends were staying at the Royal Olympic which felt and looked like a Hilton anywhere in the States. The Divani is located in a residential neighborhood very close to the Metro and Acropolis which for us, was ideal. The balconies face an interior courtyard which is not fancy at all but nice enough. The pool is very small, we didn't have time to use it. It is a very comfortable hotel without being "plastic." The air conditioning in our room was adequate, it did not make the room cold but comfortable throughout the night and provided some white noise. The balcony doors opened (no screen) and since the balcony looked out onto the courtyard, we felt comfortable leaving the door open on cool nights. We asked questions at the desk twice and on both occasions they proved to be very helpful. It did take a bit of patience in terms of communication but ultimately the information rendered was perfect.

“The best location ever”

The Divani is in a super location. Steps from the Acropolis, the Acroplis Museum and the Plaka. The rooms were very comfortable, well decorated and clean. The roof garden restaurant has a wonderful view of the acropolis! I also thought the price was quite competitive. The only downside was the interior noise. My room was very well insulated from outside noise but I could hear much of what happened in the room next to mine as well as above. My friend who was in the room next to mine said his room was quiet. So go figure. I would stay here again and perhaps request a room on the top floor to eliminate noise from above.

“Great Location, Helpful Staff”

This was my third stay at the Divani Palace. My only complaint was that there was no air conditioning. My room was very stuffy and warm unless the balcony door was open. The hotel staff explained that, since it was spring, the air conditioning had not been turned on yet in the hotel. This did not seem reasonable to me considering the price/quality of the hotel.

“Best hotel”

Hotel is very good, staff were polite and eager to help, close to major attractions, close to plakka. They book the tours for you. Just once the tour company didn't turn up and we have to argue our case out to the hotel staff, which I didn't like, they sorted it at the end any way. So, if you book tours, just make sure the hotel staff phone them 10 minutes in advance.

“VERY close to Acropolis”

Rooftop restaurant/lounge has excellent evening view of Acropolis & Parthenon. Location is superb, walking distance to Acropolis and Museum. No onsite parking, but there is secure parking a couple blocks away for ~17€/day.

“Divani Palace Hotel in Athens”

Can't beat the location. About a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Metro station. The hotel food/bar was pricey but there is a mini-market just up the street.
