Great hotel in a central locationPosted Jul 5, 2015
Hotel was excellent and in a central location for all sites. Only downside was the service at the bar was inconsistent ie ordering coffee became a lottery , sometimes you got a pot and small petit fours other times it was two cups but the price was the same! Similar with turndown service some days you got it others you didn't ! We went to get a taxi back to the airport as they pass the hotel every minute or so but the concierge said he would call us one instead . What he didn't say is it would cost an extra €5 on the fare . Seemed like a small scam as there was absolutely no need to call a taxi . Overall these are the only minor gripes we had and we would definitely go back to this hotel .

Good pool and view.Posted Jun 30, 2015
Stayed 3 nights. Room was a little small but adequate. Good bed. Great pool and spectacular view if Acropolis. Nice meal in the roof restaurant but breakfasts while generous were just average.

superb Acropolis view roof tcePosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The location is very good, close to all major sights, restaurants etc. the public areas and rooms are well appointed and the staff were excellent.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing for a hotel of this standard and of otherwise excellent quality. Both choice & quality were poor in comparison to others.
Location: Very central and close to Acropolis and other major sites, as well as Plaka and other lively areas.
This is a very good quality central hotel, very efficiently run with friendly professional staff. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, public areas are attractive, reception is welcoming and the roof top bar, pool and restaurant have superb views of the Acropolis - pity breakfast is served in the ground floor dining area, which although attractive can't compete with the rooftop setting. We only stayed a couple of nights but if staying longer it may be worth paying the supplement for an Acropolis view room.

Beautiful hotel with an incredible view of the Acropolis from the roof top pool and restaurant. Restaurant was first rate and the room was luxurious, spotless, and pretty. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, well appointed hotelPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Location, rooms, view from rooftop
The hotel is located in the Plaka, an easy walk to the Acropolis and many other sites. Our room was large and the beds were comfortable. Roof top pool had a picture postcard perfect view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. Employees were very friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel and if I return to Athens I will stay there again.

Great hotel in heart of plakaPosted Jun 18, 2015
Lovely hotel. Great location within easy walking distance of all attractions. Rooms very comfortable and we had balcony with Acropolis view. Roof top pool with bar and restaurant is beautiful but busy at beginning and end of day. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great hotel and locationPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Great hotel in a great location.
Cons: The amenities the hotel offers could be better explained.
Location: Besides being near the major sites, it's 2 blocks from the main shopping street.
We picked this hotel solely on the description on Expedia. Turned out great! Located within the old city so close to most tourist sites. (We took the customary tour only to find out that most sites were actually within walking distance of the hotel.) We were expecting a typical cramped room and were pleasantly surprised to have a spacious room. If you go, be sure to go up to the roof garden which has a pool, restaurant (be sure to get a reservation!) and spectacular view of the acropolis -- especially at night when it's lit.
