Great hotel in a central locationPosted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Staff friendly, beds very comfortable and location great.
Location: Acropolis, hadrians arch, temple of Zeus all an easy walk away. Plaka district outside the door and 5 mins from Emou street for great shopping.
Expensive but worth it. Great 3 nights after a month of travelling. Can't fault this hotel. Location very central, perfect for first time visit to Athens. As a mum staying with 2 girls felt very safe, welcoming and great view of the Acropolis from the pool.

Very centralPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Roof top pool with outstanding views was definatly a highlight. Staff very friendly and helpful. Air conditioned throughout
Cons: More space outside for breakfast, rarely able to get an outside table during our stay.
Location: Very central, all major sights within easy walking distance into the star attraction, the Acropolis. Archaeological museum was furthest away but still
Stayed for a week. Great location for most of the sights and facilities very good esp. The roof top pool!

Perfect hotel in perfect locationPosted Sep 27, 2014
This was our second stay at the Electra and it a great hotel with a restaurant and swimming pool looking across at the Acropolis. It has the most beautiful reception area and the staff are polite, helpful and ever courteous. The hotel is perfectly situated close to the Acroplois, the Plaka (restaurant and market area) and a short walk from the parliament building and parks. Perfect!

Located in the Plaka and a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis entrance (uphill after that). Good solid service and food.

Excellent place to explore Athens fromPosted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: The hotel's facilities were excellent for a city centre hotel. The buffet breakfast offered was excellent with a wide range of food to choose from.
Cons: Some rooms are advertised as doubles but you are provided with two single beds, this could be clearer on booking.
Location: You are within easy walking distance of most things in Athens and within easy reach on the metro for further exploring.
The Electra Palace Hotel was an excellent place to stay in the centre of Athens. It's facilities, especially the rooftop pool, allow you to relax in the heart of the city and still be within easy walking distance of the main historical sights and attractions.

Location: shopping, eating, sites.
Three blocks to the main pedestrian throughfare in Plakas (old town), near everything you may want to see. Nice rooms, roof top pool is great with views of the Acropolis.
