It was good. I only stayed there one night, but the man in the front desk was very nice and helpful.

extremely good valuePosted Feb 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
this hotel was very reasonably priced, and easy to get to from the aiport, nice and clean, friendly service on reception, and a big buffet breakfast, i have stayed in hotels that cost a lot more and were nowhere near as good. it is close to the centre, i walked every where. however there are drug users on the corner, around omonia square, i was never harassed or made to feel uneasy by anyone, even though i was coming back after dark, but it might put some people off, however if you are visiting athens and looking for a real bargain, and a comfortable place to stay i would definitely recommend this hotel,i will certainly stay ther again myself

Ok hotel for the pricePosted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: The staff
Cons: The hard bed and lack of hot water, heat, usage of power outlets
Location: Center of city but not close to attractions
The room was a good size for 2 adults and 2 children, but overall the heat barely worked and we had to get maintenance to fix it. The outlets only worked if the lights were on so charging anything was a problem. The bed was super hard and the hot water barely got hot. The outside appearance was disappointing and dirty. The staff was super friendly and the helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. The price was reasonable, but you get what you pay for. Internet was slow in the room and you only get to use the wireless for one session, not until you use the total minutes you purchase.
good valuePosted Nov 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
very nice, clean room, comfortable bed, easy to get to main sites, also easy to get to airport, big breakfast, surrounding area quite grotty looking, some street drinkers in the neighbourhood, but safe, also a very helpful gentleman on the front desk welcomed me on arrival and helped me sort out an internet problem

Good stay good valuePosted Sep 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Good location in terms of getting to the sites but the area wasn't the best. The room was big. air con was temperamental. The lady on the desk in the morning was terrible but the guy on the desk in the early avo was great very helpful. Wifi is not great and only available in lobby

Good hotel in a bad placePosted Sep 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean and well looked-after. The reception was helpfu and problems with the room were rectified quickly. The breakfast was solid good value, though not fancy. It was good value for money. As other reviews have pointed out, however, the hotel finds itself in a fairly grotty neighbourhood. It's 10 minutes walk from the metro, but to get there you have to pass through an idea that is frequented by street ladies and drug addicts. On our third day we walked past an old man defecating on the sidewalk.

Terrible area!!!Posted Jul 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel and staff are not bad at all. However I would stay clear off this area at all costs. Even locals wanted to know why I was staying in that area.
Cheap, Clean and Convenient but NoisyPosted Jul 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
Was extremely well priced, and comfortable (except thin walls) room except the sad thing was there was a room of 10-12 year olds next door who continued to shout, slap each other and laugh (sounds mean to say but it was really loud) until the early hours despite being us asking nicely to please keep it down. While noisy guests are not the Hotels fault the thin walls are and when I contacted reception at at 2am they said they'd "sort it out" but they didn't call the room or visit it, which was disappointing. In the end it took 2 efforts of banging on the wall at 3am for them to be quiet (or more likely they just fell asleep)

Poor areaPosted Jun 18, 2012
Pros: Roof restaruant
Cons: customer service, and no kettles
Location: convenient, 10 min walk to the station, but a bit not too safe
The hotel was located in a bad area, with drug dealers and users, many people wander around drinking, and you can see a few persons lying on the floor. The area is old and dirty, we need to be careful when we go back to hotel at night time. The breakfast was good, and it's in the roof. The most disappointing thing was ..when we asked for a glass of hot water, the receptionist asked us to wait for the bar man to come and give us, we waited for 20 min, and the bar man came down and told us we could use the warm tap water. I dont think it's safe to drink hot water from the tap. I think they're not helpful enough. The room is cheap, but customer service isn't that good and the area is bad.
