Very good location for the sitesPosted May 18, 2015
Cons: Plug socket near where the kettle is, better supply of tea and milk, someone to carry bags, better use of the roof garden.
Location: Very handy for Acropolise, Acropolise Museum, Plaka area, several bars and restaurants and Metro.
Small and comfortable hotel, handy for the major sites, the plaka and many restaurants and bars, also near to the underground station. Room OK with plenty of storage space and a nice bathroom. We paid extra for balcony and view of the Acropolise but would not do so again. Nice breakfast room but it would be much better to use the roof garden which has one of the best views of the Acropolise we have seen. It was nice to have a kettle and cups but the supply of ingredients was limited. Also we were given the impression that the roof garden was mainly for eating, otherwise would have had a drink there.

Great location, walking distance from metro, restaurants, sights. Delicious breakfast included and on-site restaurant with high end views, accommodating staff, and clean rooms.

Great positionPosted May 14, 2015
Pros: Liked its position and thought it was good value.
Cons: The roof restaurant could be made a bit more atmospheric and cosy. Although have to say the views were great.
Location: It was very close to the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and the Plaka, so therefore heaps of good things to do nearby.
We found the Hotel Hera to be a great find. Close to the Acropolis , Plaka and Acropolis Museum, it was a handy spot. Also, there were lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel very close to the AcropolisPosted May 2, 2015
Pros: Great location, wonderful staff
Cons: The restaurant can be made to feel more sophisticated.
Location: Pretty much all is near - the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, Greek and Roman Agoras, Temple of Zeus, parks etc.
The hotel is located just a few hundred meters from the Acropolis and its new museum. My room was relatively small but clean and convenient. There is a lot of restaurants around (they are fine but not chic), and pretty much everything is within a walking distance. The neighborhoods to the south and east are not too interesting, but Plaka a little to the North will get you going. There is a subway station a hundred meters or little more from the hotel but the place does not feel too crowded. All told, it's a great place to spend a few days in Athens and around (hotel staff will be happy to arrange bus tours to places like Mycenae).

Great Hotel with Great PeoplePosted Mar 30, 2015
I was there for 6 nights and I was taken well care of. Everone are very helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was delicious. The location is a huge plus. I walk with 2 canes I had no issue getting around. Everything is close by and you are picked and dropped off at the the Hotel for tours and activities. I hope to be back to do other things that I did get to do on this trip and Hera Hotel will be my Greek Home!

Excellent.Posted Mar 30, 2015
Location: Walking distance to everything you need. Food, transportation, museums, sites.
Could not ask for a better hotel experience in hotel. Reserving a hotel online can sometimes be hit or miss, but this hotel was a solid hit. Centrally located and in walking distance to bus, subways and sites like the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and Temple of Zeus. Staff are wonderful and go out of their way to help you, from calling local businesses for you, to offering suggestions and directions in the area, and even mailing your post cards for you. A+

Great hotelPosted Mar 16, 2015
This hotel has great location. It is about a 10-20 minute walk to anything in athens you would want to see. The staff is very helpful with anything you may need. I would recommend including the breakfast in your stay it is great. There's a wide variety of food to choose from. Overall I would stay here again.
