“Great budget hotel in top area”

A simple, clean hotel in a laid-back area of Athens. Excellent information given from the guy on reception. The room had a balcony which was great for watching the locals from. we loved it!

The hotel is clean and quiet, close to all important touristic attractions, and has free internet. The personnel of the hotel is very helpful with touristic and any other information. The area is very safe (despite first impression), with a nice and active square right in front of the hotel, with cute outdoor cafes and restaurants.

“Very convenient if traveling in budget”

This hotel is so well located in terms of historical places in greater Athens. Right next to the Archeological Museum and close to other sites including the Acropolis. Staff very friendly, hotel very clean and a lot of funky cafe's and places to eat. Very close to Omonia station. Would stay again!!!!

“Nice little hotel”

I felt really comfortable in this little hotel. Quite hard to find it though - the road it is on goes on and on and crosses over a main road and continues. I liked the courtyard/square location though and it's a good idea to familiarise yourself with that on the map (a triangle of green!) as the hotel is on one of the corners. Room was cleaned every day; staff really friendly and gave me some good tips on where to go. Fab little restaurant just opposite (Cookofou - or something like that). It has a great (antique) lift - it's worth a visit just to have a go in it! It's not an all shiny and new hotel; basic, but it has all you need (fridge and TV) but not T and Coffee facilities so bring a kettle!

If you planning to stay in the room this one not for you, but to see Athens it is good and affordable place close to decent food too.

“A good place to stay!”

I would recommend this Hotel Exarchion to others. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good and close to many reasonaly priced restarants and the metro, and within walking distance of many places we wanted to visit. It's a no frills hotel--basic but good. Like much of Athens the street noise is LOUD and goes all night long so I recommend you bring ear plugs.

“Perfect base for Athens”

- in Omonia which has good transport links with metro, and is a 5 euro ride in a taxi to Syntagma (centre). Quiet enough. - good price for decent unremarkable small hotel - plenty cheap eateries around it in Exarchia square - staff helpful, and free internet in lobby - lovely rooftop garden area, with views over Athens, lovely for evening drinks Recommended for anyone needing a cheap base to explore Athens!

“A good place to stay and save some money”

The rooms are small but are comftarble. The people in the front office are really nice and helpful. The only bad thing was that they didn't have a shower curtain, nevertheless i enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

“Has your basic needs in a hotel room”

The hotel was in a perfect location... very near to the metro, shops, restaurants, etc. Almost all interesting places is walking distance. Rooms and bathrooms were small but it was clean and comfy.
