If you want to be in the centre of the most liveliest area of Athens (Exarchia) Hotel Exarchion is an ideal place to stay. They were friendly and helpful.

If it's the neighborhood you want, perfect

Posted Feb 20, 2011 on Hotels.com
If you are looking to stay around the acropolis with your grandchildren I wouldn't recommend it, but if you want to stay in the more hip neighborhood, bit still within easy distance of the tourist sites, I totally recomend it. Tons of bars and cafes around. Think Williamsburg or shoreditch. Also, ask for a room on a higher floor, nice balconies and views.

good for a short stay

Posted Sep 19, 2009 on Hotels.com
The hotel was in a bad neighborhood, but there seemed to be a decent night life surrounding the area for young people (under college age). There was a lot of graffiti and dogs barking in the area. The beds were small and very hard but there was a balcony and small tv with channels in english and greek. The shower was really nice, I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay or if traveling with student aged kids.

very cost-effective

Posted Nov 5, 2008
The hotel is clean and quiet, close to all important touristic attractions, and has free internet. The personnel of the hotel is very helpful with touristic and any other information. The area is very safe (despite first impression), with a nice and active square right in front of the hotel, with cute outdoor cafes and restaurants.

Lovely neighborhood

Posted Oct 29, 2008 on Hotels.com
This hotel was located close to many sidewalk cafes and restaurants. It had all the basic necessities and if you're looking for something reasonably priced, clean and close to places to eat, this is the place. It's not walking distance to the Acropolis but we hired a taxi for $25 Euros an hour and had a lovely 3 hour tour of Athens.

not a nice neighborhood

Hotel was in a bad neighborhood, elevator was claustrophic, breakfast was ok, nothing special. Pick a better area in Athens to be closer to the Acropolis and nicer looking buildings. Run down area.

Nej tack

INGET att rekommendera for atleter.

Very convenient if traveling in budget

Posted Jul 18, 2008
This hotel is so well located in terms of historical places in greater Athens. Right next to the Archeological Museum and close to other sites including the Acropolis. Staff very friendly, hotel very clean and a lot of funky cafe's and places to eat. Very close to Omonia station. Would stay again!!!!

good location

Posted Jul 6, 2008
only 10 minute walk from the station with good link to main attractions in the city. was situated on a safer road in the omonia district. basic hotel , which is not too bothered with hotel security, otherwise served it's purposes/ not ideal for families.
