“Likes the location to the sea port and subway station”

Staff members were pleasant and very helpful. The hotel room thatwe stayed in very clean, sheets and towels were changed daily. We had a memoralable stayand would recommend this hotel .

“Great staff, Good Location”

This hotel was clean, reasonably priced and located at the port which is what I needed. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The only discrepency was that it is listed as pet friendly. They do allow pets but told me not to let the cats on the bed. Anyone who has or knows cats knows that they will jump on beds unless they are locked up. Lucky for me I had my own blanket to cover the bed so my cats didn't have to be caged.

“Value for Money”

The hotel was a lot better than we were expecting. it was a little noisy but not too bad. Would return there especially if gettin a ferry out to the islands, Its a good 15 min walk to the metro and 15 min journey to central athens.

“Very convenient and comfortable Hotel”

Good, clean hotel not far from wharf for cruising to Greek Islands. Rooms good size. Staff helpful with directions. Have free internet usage downstairs in foyer. I stayed going to and from the Greek Islands. Would stay there again. Quiet area.

“Need an overnight stay in Piraeus before catching an Island Ferry?”

We needed to stay overnight in Piraeus. Hotel Ideal was good value,the staff were very helpful (to the extent of telling us that there was no need to book a taxi to the ferry in the morning as it was only a 10 minute stroll - they even supplied us with a map)it even has some of the cheapest cafe/bar prices in Greece and the manager was happy to keep my child supplied with crisps!

“very pleasant stay”

The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the cruise port, reasonably priced, polite staff. A couple of clubs and bars on the same street. The bar across the street has an interesting and knowledgeable barkeep. The only disappointments were the unsolved lack of a seat on the toilet and an inoperative printer on the free internet that apparently was never going to be fixed. I would definitely stay there again.

“Convient for ferry departures...”

This was a good hotel. Basic but cheap. I wouldn't stay for a relaxing holiday but it was a perfect overnight stop before catching an early morning ferry.

“Minimalistic in Piraeus”

Don't look for any frills if you visit this hotel. Some of the pleasant surprises were that they had free internet in the Lobby and free access to international calls if you had your own calling card. On the downside, the water was turned off for over 24 hours and they would not compensate for the inconvenience.

“Strip joint across the street”

The strip joint across the street attracted a not so nice group of people. Lots of people noise in the street most of the night. Our non-smoking room came with two ash trays but since there was no carpet on the floor, tile instead, it was tolerable. It was kind of weird that we had to turn our room key in when leaving / exiting the building. I guess given the location that they had to monitor who was using the room.
