You get what you pay for

Pros: The breakfast buffet, location, and price.
Cons: Carpeting needs to be updated, beds and linens are very sub-par.
Location: Open air market, subway, taxi stands, many historical sites.
If you are looking for a place to flop at night while you tour during the day - this is your hotel. The lobby is quite nice (white marble) and there is a beautiful view from the roof top where breakfast is served. Breakfast consists of eggs, mini hot dogs, yogurt, cheeses, breads, granola and flake cereals, fresh fruits (kiwi, oranges, apples), canned peaches and/or fruit cocktail, juices (orange or pineapple guava), coffee, tea choices (black, green, and herbal), fresh cucumber, tomatoes, and olives. The hotel room however was chinzy and cheap. The hall and room carpeting needs to be replaced. The double bed is two twin beds pushed together with thin, hard mattresses and low thread count sheets. The bathroom is your standard European style with a tiny shower, etc., but decent towels and toiletries. Our room looked out onto an alley with wafting dumpster smell and loud traffic noise. We closed the deck door and turned on the air conditioner, so it didn't matter much. The location was really close to the underground subway (metro), open air market, taxi stands, and within walking distance to many historical sites. This was a good hotel for the price, but if you are room picky, it's not for you.

langjähriger Kunde

Pros: Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Hilfsbereites Personal.

Walking distance to all major sights of Athens

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Room condition, bath condition
Hotel is very different from the pitcures you see on booking, the roof top bar is just open fro May to October. The rooms has a bad smell always, the bath was not in highly good condition. The breakfast was OK. Staffs were OK. The hotel location is very good.

Right in the heart of Athens

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Location: Easy walking distance to major tourist attractions inc. the Acropolis. Poke around the back streets of Athens (and try the flea-markets on Sunday).
I little run-down maybe, but Hotel Jason Inn tends towards the chic end of shabby. It's well located for those who want to get away from the more touristy end of town (Plaka) but still want to be within easy walking distance of all the major sites. Local eateries are very cool and half the price of those around Plaka. Try the flea-markets on Sundays too, for a really local experience.

Vriendelijk

Nettes Hotel, sehr zentral, tolle Lage

Posted Jan 17, 2015 on Hotels.com
