Simple, no fuss hotel close to metro station on fringe of inner city area. Welcoming staff with good English who were helpful in suggesting an itinerary for my very brief Athens stopover. Taxi found the address easily. Great to have access to a laptop and printer in addition to wifi. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lycabettus. We couldn't have asked for a better location, in walking distance to Syntagma Square and Plaka. Situated on a street that is not open to car traffic, the location combines the proximity to downtown and relatively quiet atmosphere. The friendly personnel made the stay even better. The room was relatively small for 3 people but that was not unexpected for Europe.
It was a good experience and we recommend the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It has apparently been recently refurbished, and they have done a great job.
My room was spacious, modern looking, and comfortable. The TV was widescreen, with plenty of channels. The free wi-fi is quick, and password free. I was able to Skype my wife from the balcony of my room, and we enjoyed the views and evening sunshine together. There was free coffee and tea provided in the room, and the kettle was again modern. The air-conditioning is at a good level. You can feel its benefit, without being overpowered or chilled.
The bathroom is very professionally fitted in a modern style, and the little extras such as toothbrush, disposable razor, vanity kit, etc were nice. The slippers and bath-robe were of good quality. The broad-headed shower was great, as was the attachment for full-body cleaning. The water was hot, and of good force.
Free breakfast was well prepared, plentiful, varied and fresh. I came out of the restaurant feeling nicely filled. The evening meals are more limited, but my food was reasonably priced, and well prepared.
A pleasant surprise was the free gymnasium in the basement. It is sufficient for a good workout, with modern and good quality excercis machines.
The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Once again they have the balance just right between being caring and friendly, without losing the professionalism required.
This hotel will be an automatic choice for me when next visiting Athens.

Modern clean hotel with very helpful friendly staff. A location within walking distance of so many sights is so important with the traffic in athens and occasional metro strike (one strike during our 4 day stay). Great AC in room, plenty of space, comfy bed and overall very quiet.

I highly recommend everything about Brasil Suites. The location is perfect if you're happy to be out of town but within easy access by tram or train. The area is upmarket and has very nice places to eat two minutes walk down the road. The apartments and the service are understated classy while being friendly and warm. Worked perfectly for our family of four, right beside the pool. The breakfasts were excellent. Nice variety, lovely setting, good quality. Paulo and the team do a fantastic job and deserve to be right up there in popularity.

We enjoyed an excellent stay with the central location making all main sites in easy walking distance.
2 minor issues were that food in the roof top restaurant was not hot when served as it came from the downstairs kitchen and the outside roof top was closed on one day despite bright sunshine and clear skies as rain was forecast later ( non materialised ).
Breakfast was excellent and well presented with lots of choices

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 days while visiting friends in Athens. We had a delightful time, the hotel is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained and very clean. The pool to the rear is a lovely place to chill out away from the city and nice to take a dip in. The standard double room was of a large size with a view over the pool area, bed was very comfortable. Reception staff, bar staff and cleaners were friendly and always willing to help. I would highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay while visiting Athens.

My only critique has to do with the obvious priority to party events. In particular, I have to agree with the breakfast arrangements.
It would be nice to have a basic selection of tea and bread until the a la carte menu is prepared.
The staff though were exceptional in ensuring everything was served on time and everyone was happy.
