Dear Madam, you made a reservation for ONE person and you came 3 persons. you made a reservation for a room with shared shower ,the manager upgrade you to a room with shower at the same rate and you refuse. You said to EXPEDIA partner (mr Tacker)that we gave you wronge directions to come but unfortunatly ,i gave you the postal code 16673 to put it in ur gps and...and... and.,i supose to live the hotel at 7.hours and i wait for you untill you came at 9.30 night, also you said that the room dosent have A.C. but it has and it is not a hotel but it is a hostel. You ask also for a swiming pool. Never Expedia advertise wrong things or say lies.Thank you.

Not good

Posted Jul 3, 2014
If you ever stay here be sure to make sure they actually got your reservation! After booking and paying for this hotel 3 days in advance they did not have any record of my payment or reservation of a room! Not sure if this was expedias fault or theirs, but since they were full I was not able to stay. They did not let me use their phone to try to call any other hotel, and I was forced to walk around at night to search for a place to stay.. Not very helpful and would not recommend it.

Pros: Location
Cons: Right across the street from hospital so many sirens.
For never having been to Greece before, this is a good starter hotel. It is a short walk to the beach and a short walk to a major bus stop and tram for direct access to the center of Athens. Very good service. Clean sheets for the second night, as well. Very pleasant location.

I loved the hotel. The room was very clean, with a little balcony and conditioner inside, very important during summer! The key point for me was the beach right next to the place; there were 2, actually, one is free, other one is for 4,5e. There is Everest cafeteria downstairs, handy for breakfast. The nearest grocery is 10 mins walk from the hotel; walking distance to the centre of the town is about 40 mins, you can also take a bus. Any question you have - ask from the staff - they were the nicest people I met in Greece, especially Panagiotis, big thanks to him! Those people really made me feel like home there. If you are looking for beach vacation at a reasonable price - that is the place for you!

Low Budget in verkehrsgünstiger, aber lauter Lage

Posted Apr 24, 2011

Miramare at Voula Athens.

I went to the hospital the second day (there is one just opposite-i think they build it for this "hotel") with pains on my back. Among other reasons that would make someone not to go there is that I think there are rocks in the beds. The bedrooms are 2.5x2.5m.Shower 60x60cm. Everything in there (furnitures) are very old (It's difficult to know the colour of the blankets(full of stains). If you need to seat then you will have to seat on the beds. There is place for only one chair. The workers that try to fix some things in there (changing tyles in the common bathrooms) don't care if it is Sunday 7 o'clock in the morning. They just work like if they work in any workplace outside. And they don't care if you ask them not to do so. If there was a way I would like to get my money back. They say you get what you are paying for. This is not the case. I payed about 30 euros a day but 5 euros would be reasonable.

zum Übernachten mit kleinem Geldbeutel gut geeignet

Posted Jul 27, 2010
