An OasisPosted Aug 7, 2014
O&B is a wonderful oasis in a very interesting neighborhood, walking distance to shops, restaurants. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and the room was top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hotel near AcropolisPosted Aug 6, 2014
We are a family of 4 and stayed here 2 nights. They gave us excellent welcome (juice and pastry in room). Very friendly staff. Very good rooms...though a bit small...but convenient. Very good breakfast in the morning. They made special omelette for us based on our dietary needs. Called taxi for us at 4 AM in morning as we had to leave very early to catch our flight. Acropolis is nearby (10 mins by walk). Ancient Agora is 5 mins walk. Plaka area with its quaint restaurants and streets is 5-10 mins. Everything is very close by.

A great Hotel with easy access to important sitesPosted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: The location, cleanliness and friendly staff. Lovely breakfasts every morning.
Cons: Would have liked an ironing board and an iron in the room. Although a maid service is provided to do this without charge.
Location: The Monastiraki, Close proximity to the City, Close to The Acropolis, Syntagma Square, and many other attractions.
We loved staying at The O & B Boutique Hotel. We were able to walk everywhere. There were really nice Restaurants in the Area and the staff were very helpful.

Nice hotelPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: The staff, the cleanness of the premises and the breakfast.
Cons: Larger rooms
Location: Location is very centric, very close to the Monastiraki and its markets. We never felt unsafe but it's not the prettiest face of the city.
The hotel itself is really nice, rooms are on the petite size though. As advertised, they're roughly 25 sqm, the good thing is that the bathroom takes a significant amount of the count, the bad thing is the rest is too small. We had a room with a terrace and a view to the Acropolis. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, perhaps the highlight of the hotel. On the not-so-convenient side, location is very centric, and not in a nice way. Although we could go walking basically to any of the trendy places in Athens, our neighborhood was too centric, and although we never felt unsafe, the scenery is not the most pleasing one. I think the neighborhood is called Psirri. If I ever go back to Athens, I'd stay at the other side of the Acropolis in either Plaka or Anafiotika.

Great boutique hotelPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The large room, bathrooms, breakfast, and great staff.
Cons: The DVD shop at the end of the street was a little uncomforting.
Location: The location was close to all attractions but borders the seedier side of town. There are many seedy-chic restaurants nearby and we felt safe.
This hotel has a great location that might be on a not so nice street, but is close to the market, the Acropolis, Psiri, the Plaka, and many good restaurants. It's breakfast was to die for with many options of traditional Greek or continental. The staff went out of their way to be helpful from serving afternoon snacks to amazing restaurant recommendations. Our room was always clean, with beds made and the mini bar refilled. Ask for room 21 if you have 4 people because it is large and has one of the best views of the Acropolis. If we return to Athens we will be visiting O and B hotel again.

Nice hotel close to central Athens sites and shoppPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: The staff were great - the hotel was chic
Overall great experience, the rooms were a bit small but sufficient for my last night in Athens. The hotel staff were welcoming, accomodating, and very helpful!

Fantastic staffPosted Jul 23, 2014
Was a little nervous about the location from some pictures, needn't have worried - a oasis of calm in a market area, close to main tourist sites. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, worthy of a very expensive boutique hotel, food and facilities without fault. Highly recommended

Great location, ok hotel, overratedPosted Jul 20, 2014
This hotel is close to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square and great restaurants. However, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. Want washcloths? They don't have those. We asked for additional body wash and were brought a bottle that was half full. The shower did not drain properly and the mini bar wasn't cold. Whenever I asked for something, the hotel staff reacted like there was nothin that could be done or that they were being inconvenienced. That said, the bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, and the location was great. Next time though, we will be staying elsewhere.

Great locationPosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: Replace linens, add soap dishes to sink and shower.
Location: All the subway lines are within 2 stops of Thessio, which is just around the corner. Subways are very clean and 24hour ticket for 4 Euros is great.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good with large cup of "filter" coffee for Americans. Neighborhood not upscale but no problems. Location excellent for Acropolis, subway (Thessio) and Plaka shopping. Room a little small and linens a little worn, but would definitely stay again.
