“24 hr view of acropolis”

our stay was great from check in to check out....the staff did everything they could to help make our stay the best possible. The view from the roof top was the best, and I never tired of making the trip up there

The hotel was good for the money. There was breakfast every morning, which kept me from having to venture out early in the morning to find breakfast. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The most important part was the staff. They were very helpful and they spoke english.

The hotel was a great value for the money. The staff were incredibly friendly. We arrived in the middle of the night and received good service. We were on the 5th floor but the hotel has a small lift so we thankfully didn't have to carry our bags. The room was small but in good condition and had everything we needed including a private bathroom, small safe, fridge, and AC unit, plus a nice TV and desk. The hotel breakfast is done on a small scale so be prepared for that - hard boiled eggs, deli meat & cheese, fresh bread, 2 types of cereal and your choice of juice, coffee or tea. The location was about 10 minutes walk from the National Archeological Museum of Greece which was nice, and roughly 30 minutes from the Acropolis area. We walked frequently and didn't have any trouble. Omonia is an area of Athens with political demonstrations which we saw regularly walking around and the population is largely immigrants. We were never hassled beyond street vendors trying to sell their products although we didn't go out late at night. If you're willing to walk or take public transportation to get to central Athens this hotel is a good choice for the price.

“You get what you pay for. Close to historic center.”

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Located within a close walk to the Acropolis. Not in the ideal neighborhood, especially at night. Parking was limited. Breakfast was included. I would stay again if I needed a cheap, clean hotel in Athens. It is what it states, a 2 star hotel. If I recommended this hotel to another person I would want to reiterate "you get what you pay for."

“Athens hotel downtown”

the hotel was located not far from Omonoia Square, which is only a short walk from Syntagma Square. The staff was friendly; the bed was comfortable; they offered free internet connection in the lobby; the water and soft drinks were very cheap (0.50 and 1.00 Euros respectively) and there was a mini fridge in the room. My only "complaint" was that the shower in the bathroom was EXTREMELY small; however, shower sizes vary from room to room. The neighbourhood itself was a little sketchy; for me, a guy, it was less worrisome, but I wouldn't want my sister walk out on the street alone there... Once inside the hotel, however, everything was great. A kind of down-and-out location for an otherwise great place.

“Convenient but Loud in Athens”

The hotel was nothing fancy...very small rooms, tiny bathrooms, simple breakfast, but the staff was very nice. The location is convenient, but in kind of a sketchy neighborhood. Additionally, the building itself is very loud. Our room was next to the elevator, and it kept us awake. Additionally, the beds were not comfortable.

“Cheap hotel, nice staff”

The Pergamos is in a nice part of town that also has a Polish population. So if you are in the mood for Polish food, Greek food, or even pizza, it is easy to find. The hotel is close to the subway and the Acropolis. The staff at the hotel are really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room witha terrace that is actually larger than the room! It was huge. The rooms are a bit small but other than that, a great value conveniently located.

A budget hotel to be sure but perfect if you plan to spend no time in the hotel. It is clean and the staff is wonderful. No frills but perfect if that's what you're looking for. It was perfect for us!
