Great location, OK roomPosted Oct 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location close to major attractions. Nice outside area to people-watch on what is primarily a walking street. Very helpful staff, good breakfast, and nice common areas. The rooms are clean but shabby. Miniature shower stall was claustrophobic. Note that location shown on Fodor's map is not even close. Within 150 yards of Thission metro station, so easy to reach from airport.

Hotel with good locationPosted Oct 11, 2013
Hotel do not provide parking every time we had to drive around narrow streets for 15-30 minutes to find space. Car been scratch over night so that cost us 160 euros. Room been dirty on arriving sand/dry mud on the floor and lots of dust ang hairs un bathroom. Locartion was excellent close to everthing And breakfasts was big and delucious.

Location is great and desk service is excellent!Posted Oct 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was small but came with a nice little balcony. The tiny bathroom was suboptimal. Bed is hard. People at the desk were very helpful and the hotel is very clean. Location is the best! Enjoy dinner at the excellent restaurant at the corner with a lovely view of the Acropolis. Excellent value at both hotel and restaurant.

Great location, so-so roomPosted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Located on walking street, within walking distance of Acropolis, etc. Room was OK. Shower extremely small. Staff very helpful. Beware! Location shown in Fodor's is way off.

Not how it was promoted!Posted Oct 1, 2013
Cons: The cleanness for one!! Bathroom can be more efficient even if it small. For such a prime location this hotel was very poorly managed :(
Location: The location is convenient although once you get off the taxi you must walk for another 5 - 10mins to reach the hotel. Plenty to do nearby.
I was in desperate need for hotel when I arrived in Athens, sick as a dog. My husband found the hotel through Expedia, the pictures look pretty decent and clean. But when my daughter and I got there... we were being put in this small room, dirty small bathroom , bugs infested and very small balcony with AC condenser that ooze water from the AC - hardly can sit there! For the price they were asking, it isn't worth it! It is close to almost every tourist spots but it isn't worth the money. Old and dreary... the lift was scary! I'm used to backpacking travel too but the rate wasn't backpacker rate. I booked for 6 days.. leave after the 1st day and didn't get our money back. The pictures on their FB site and on Expedia very misleading. It could be potentially better hotel with its prime location but they need to clean it up a bit if they are asking for that much Euros/night!! Unless you're desperate.. don't stay there.. :(

Location but not much elsePosted Oct 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were offered a double bed when we had specified twins. We got a camp bed as a solution. Our room was very tatty and very dusty, dirty even. The staff seemed unbothered - well, the payment had already gone through. The water was hot, the breakfast fine and the location excellent, but guests with a front balcony (we had a back room) said it was very noisy. I don't think I would go back and I would not recommend it.

Better than expectedPosted Sep 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Bought off the internet, surprised at how good a location the hotel was for the money. Easy to get to from the airport on the metro half price for the over 65s, 4 euros each way per person. Most attraction in walking distance. Went down to the coast one day 1.40 cents on the metro.

Typical European Budget HotelPosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location. Very average facilities. Nice lobby/service/adjoined cafe, but elevator is dodgy and rooms not that great. Room was small, fixtures were cheap (shower head, medicine cabinet door was busted, toiled was busted) and we had an issue with ants when a couple small chocolate crumbs were dropped the previous night. Bed is terrible. Would not suggest for a stay of more than two nights unless you absolutely have to be in the Thessio/Gazi areas and have a budget of €100-150/night.
