“I'd choose this when I'm in Piraeus again!”

The room was quite good, neat, A/C working quite well and the bathroom was neat and quite appropriate. The minibar was quite tempting and had a lot of varieties. The hotel staff were very friendly and answers all your questions without hesitation; may go extra miles to help. It is a 5 minute taxi ride to the ferry port and around a 15 minute walk. Getting back to the hotel on foot was a little confusing though because it intersects two streets. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in Piraeus

“Close to cruise port”

The hotel was easy to get to from the airport. The express bus takes you within walking distance. The hotel was nice, clean and great for the price. The beds were alittle hard but common for europe. They provide a full breakfast included in the price also. I would recommend this hotel for all cruisers.

“Great value and convenience!”

Tidy and comfortable room in a terrific location, overall. The street immediate adjacent to hotel is shabby, but one block away it is fine. Staff is very professional. The room was comfortable and we had a pleasant little balconey. Great value and close to the port. Within 15 minute walk of the metro station, too. We'd certainly return there for a cruise out of Piraeus. Nice city to explore, as well.

“Convenient to port of Piraeus and Athens Metro”

Great place to stay if you are cruising from the port of Piraeus, but take a cab from the hotel to the embarkation point. It's a long walk with luggage with no good signage from the cruise ships about where you find your ship. Great breakfast in a cheerful room. The view is not spectacular because the hotel is located on a city commercial block, but the hotel is very well maintained, serviced, and clean. The staff are friendly, speak English well, and very helpful. About a 15 minute walk to the Athens Metro, which is the best way to get to the Athens tourist spots. Inexpensive and easy to follow. If we don't get lost, you surely will be able to find your way! This hotel was a find, and I'm glad others who have stayed there reviewed it because that's how I chose it. We took the city bus 96 from the Athens airport and the driver told us which stop to get off. But from there he didn't know where the hotel was. We just asked the newspaper vendor at the next corner. But you may want to have the map with you.

“Hotel was excellent, as reviews say”

Although the port area struck us as "grubby," the hotel itself was clean and the staff were both courteous and helpful (manager Ellie does a great job). The room had a tiny shower, but otherwise was quite comfortable. The breakfast was quite extensive, with eggs, toast, etc. If we were in Athens again, we would not hesitate to stay at the Piraeus Dream.

“A nice welcome!”

We arrived late and only stayed one night, but the guy on reception was friendly, good humoured and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy and breakfast (simple)was available from 6.30am - in time for the boat to Sifnos. Not in a particularly nice area, but a stone's throw from the ferry terminal, which was great as the boat left early, and we have never been here before. The kind guy on reception also gave us a map, just in case! If you are going ot the Cyclades islands - this hotel is ideal.

“Just what we needed”

Very helpful staff, reasonable rates for small but clean and comfortable room with great breakfast.

“Wonderful hotel, wonderful people”

This hotel is a unexpected little jewel. Once you find it, it is a peaceful oasis in the midst of the clamor and chaos known as Piraeus. The room was very nice--even the bathroom (no perpetually wet floor from either a leaking toilet or peculiarly designed shower here). But, most important of all, the people at the desk were incredibly helpful and delightful--especially the woman at the front desk who helped us so when we arrived by dealing with the car rental company and arranging for a convenient drop-off. She was efficiently tough with them, and at that point in our odyssey--which involved working around demonstrations and shifting strike schedules--an efficiently tough Greek woman was exactly what we needed. If we ever need to stay in Piraeus again, this is exactly where we'll do our dreaming. Oneira glyka!

Quietly located perfect for overnight stays either in transit or for exploring Athens - walking distance from Port and Metro. Free wifi 'boutique style' room with tea/coffee facilities + small fridge with mini bar. Ticks all boxes

“Last minute booking super find will certainly use again”

Due to ferry strike found Dream on Expedia all booked just 30 mins before leaving to Heathrow. Our arrival at 4.00am needed a short stay + our one day booking no problem reception very curtious for time of morning. Good location just 10 mins walk from bus terminal. Room was exceptionally clean with all facilities. Our day in Piraeus was surprising behind the waterfront quiet a transformation we had a superday thank you ferry strikers we shall return much preferred for overnight than going into Athens
