Worst hotel of Athens

This hotel does not deserve 5 stars. Maybe 3 should be mora accurate. Small rooms, outdated. Poor breakfast. Not worth what they charge for it. Better try another one

An exellent stay at the right price

Pros: Excellent location, room, breakfast and great value with free Wifi and breakfast included in our Expedia package rate.
Location: Very central with lots of shops and access to public transport. Excellent restaurant, Alexandra, a short walk.
We were delighted with our three-day stay in early August at the Radisson Park Hotel Athens, a hotel that has just about everything and with great value for the moneyt--including free Wifi and a superb breakfast buffet all included in the good package rate we chose via Expedia. The hotel's location is excellent for all you want to do in Athens, the room for my wife and teenage daughter was more like a suite, clean, neat and comfortable. Above all, we found the staff to be incredibly friendly and efficient, starting with the real help that Assistant Manager Antonis at the front desk provided when we had lost luggage on the Air France flight that brought us to Athens and including breakfast hostess Maira whose sunny smile and careful attention tames the impatience of the hungriest morning guest. In sum, we will be returning on our next trip and recommend it highly. PS: Antonis recommended an excellent restaurant nearby and which I am reviewing separately, Alexandra on Alexandra Avenue.

Service and hospitality from the heart at the front desk

We were just in Athens for one night and the hotel lobby was amazing though the rooms do you need to be upgraded the beds were comfortable in the path room was fine and clean it was a clean property a beautiful swimming pool on the roof deck the food in the restaurant was very good in traditional Greek food I would stay here again for the price we paid on hotels.com

מלון מפואר . החדר היה מרווח מאוד מאוד ומפנק ביותר . פשוט - נהדר. צוות המלון היה אדיב באופן יוצא דופן לחיוב . מיקום המלון טוב- מרוחק מהמולה של מרכז העיר עם תחבורה נוחה בקרבת מקום . החדר פנה לחזית שגובלת בכביש סואן , כך שלעתים קצת מהרעש חדר פנימה . אבל "הסבל" היה בהחלטה נסבל...

A good hotel with a few flaws

Pros: Decor and convenience to tourist bus
Cons: Ban smoking in all indoor areas and bring in a more extensive restaurant menu
Location: Most of the major attractions are not in this locality (apart from the archeological museum) but taxis are always waiting outside and guide bus local.
The hotel lobby is fantastic - the decor is spot on. The staff are friendly and professional. The room (we had a superior room on the 6th floor) was better than we expected and had a nice view over the park. Unfortunately it would appear that double glazing is not present in Athens and as a result the busy road outside was a shame, but did not affect enjoyment or sleep. The restaurant had nice food but unfortunately the menu is extremely limited. Also, the restaurant on the top floor (same menu as downstairs restaurant) has a bar attached, which the hotel allows smoking in, which really ruined our meal. The staff were apologetic and comped our dessert, but really smoking should be banned from all indoor locations. The roof top pool area was a nice touch with views on all 4 sides across the city. All in all, a good hotel, and only a 5 min walk to the "hop on, hop off" bus that we enjoyed.

Two nights in Athens

Pros: The staff was very nice and gave helpful tips about the city.
Cons: Clean the rooms! There was noticeable mold in the bathroom, bathtub and floor boards. Non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke and dingy unclean feel.
I like Radisson and choose this hotel because I respect their brand and tend to be loyal to their hotels. The hotel had a great staff and was very friendly. The hotel itself was a little on the rough side. The room was dirty and did not live up to my experience with Radisson Blu properties in the U.S. The staff was great, so I don't like giving a negative review, but the overall cleanliness of the rooms were well below expectations.

Hirveä sisustus - pimeä loukko!

Pros: Henkilökunta ystävällistä, hyvä sänky.
Cons: Ruoan taso, enemmän valoa käytäviin.
Hotellin käytävät oli ilmeisesti yritetty sisustaa modernisti, mutta tulos oli hirveä: pimeä ja tunkkainen. Aivan kuin olisi ollut jossain luolassa!Ruoka yläkerran ravintolassa oli keskinkertainen.

Need improvement on facilities

The staff at the hotel was friendly and very helpful; Unfortunately, the building is not well conserved (I had higher expectation with the Radiasson franchise) the building is extremely old, appliances did not work and the smell of the rooms were terrible.

Även om rummen kanske var lite slitna så var det helt OK. En av Atens häftigaste takterasser och en i övrigt trivsam anläggning gör att vi gärna kommer tillbaka.
