Modern clean hotel with very helpful friendly staff. A location within walking distance of so many sights is so important with the traffic in athens and occasional metro strike (one strike during our 4 day stay). Great AC in room, plenty of space, comfy bed and overall very quiet.

I have stayed at the Margi many times, including one month 15 years ago when it was my primary residence.
It is the perfect place just outside Athens to adjust after flying in from US or to decompress after touring all the wonderful Greek historic sites and islands.
It's just 30 minutes by car from the airport and worlds away from the hectic pace one you walk through its portal and inside its walls. The decor is a cross between west and east and the pool an oasis with splendid lounges, a full bar and dining room. The cuisine is excellent.
The rooms may be snug (but roomy by European standards) and all have either a patio or balcony overlooking the sea (one block away) or the hills that surround the hotel.
We keep going back. We will be back again.

Hotel is central, so walking distance to all main historic sites. Very friendly welcome when we arrived tired from the journey. Enormous range of choice at breakfast. Very pleasant pool with Acropolis view. Don't confuse with Electra hotel, same management but on busier street and apparently fewer facilities. Would have liked a lock on bathroom door and it should be opaque, but these are quibbles.

We stayed at the resort for 5 days looking for some rest and relaxation. The resort is very well located only 25 minutes from the airport and the hotel arranged our transportation that worked perfectly. The resort is beautiful and well kept and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a Mediterean bungalow that overlooked the ocean and our own semi-private beach and we were very pleased with it. We were told the hotel was fully booked but it never felt busy and there was always plenty of room at the pool or beach. The beaches were pebbles not sand and this was not ideal but typical for this area. Our breakfast was included and it was excellent with something for everyone. I guess our only negative is the cost on the resort for food and drinks as it is very expensive. Beer 10 euros and 18 for a cocktail is a little over the top especially when you can go to the adjoining public beach and pay less than half. Overall a good experience.

My stay at this excellent hotel had a great start when I was upgraded (without asking) to a better room, which incidentally had a lovely balcony. The décor is very quirky and there is art throughout the building; even if you don't particularly like the art, you are aware of the decorative efforts that have been made. Without exception every member of staff with whom I had any contact was charming and anxious to please; customer service was exemplary ! The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a generous selection of hot and cold foods - we certainly didn't require any lunch.
