“Nice Hotel in right place”
Nice location on the hill. You can see the whole city of Athens. The acropolis is at eye level from the hotel and beautifull at nite. close to plaka for shopping and dinning. Hotel has nice restaurant with excellent food.
“Excellent point de dĂ©part pour visiter Athènes”
hotel très agréablement situé, petit déjeuner absolument royal, terrasse de petit déjeuner particulièrement agréable. Si possible, toujours essayer d'obtenir une chambre à un étage élevé, côté Acropole.
“Great old style hotel”
We spent our first four days in Greece at the St George and it totally lived up to expectations. We didn't eat at the hotel, but used it as a base to travel around the Kolonaki shopping area and go to restaurants there. The St. George is in a good location to walk down the hill to the Metro stop (10 minutes) and we were able to walk to the city market and plaka as well (20-30 minutes). The hotel pool is small, but a great view and the bar at the pool is open late. All of the staff were extremely nice and willing to help out. Rooms are small, but well appointed with balconies. Ask for the side that looks out to the Acropolis. Laundry can be sent out.
“Great Hotel in a Great Location”
The St. George is a great little hotel on the Lycabettus Hill in the heart of Athens. Just a short stroll to the posh Lycabettus Square. The beautiful Metro has a stop located right down the hill and the Parliment and the National Gardens are only about a 15 minute walk. The walk up the hill back to the hotel after a long day of sighseeing is no joke so I would suggest taking a taxi when returning to the hotel. The hotel staff was extremely polite and professional. The guest services will do everything in their power to imporve your stay and help with tours and excurtions.
“convenience and comfort”
we enjoyed the location of st.george especially after hiking around athens for a day. the staff was quite friendly and helpful. if you get a room with acropolis view you will not be disappointed. the staff recommended a lovely local greek restraunt, and made reservations for us.
“excellent location”
the hotel has a great location and very good service. Their restaurant is top notch, although a bit pricey. walking to the hotel is not easy with luggage!!!
“sehr gutes Hotel in Super Lage”
5 Sterne Hotel mit gutem Service in guter Lage, Alles zu FuĂź machbar, In-Viertel in Athen
“Great Hotel”
This hotel gets A's everywhere - one exception - maybe it's just me but the bed was VERY firm - if it was a sleep number I'd give it 100. So other than that which is really a personal preference the place is marvelous. We had an enourmous balcony looking out on the Parthenon. The rooftop pool is an oasis after an all day sightseeing trip. When in Athens stay here!
“loved it”
I loved the hotel. I had breakfast on the top floor with the view of the Parthenon. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are a little small, but the location makes up for it. It is in the heart of Kolonaki and is walking distance to clothing and shoe store, restaurants, and coffee shops.
“Very impressed”
The hotel was beautiful!! The rooms were clean and nice. The service at the hotel was superb!!
