“Athens in the off-season”

Great location for a visit to Athens, in the high end Kolonaki neighborhood. The hotel supplied a shuttle bus throughout the day to Syntagma (Constitution) Square which is in the heart of this great city across from the Parliment building. The Metro (subway) system was also convenient from there, and cheap. Our room had a nice view , from high up in this steeply carved city, of the Acropolis and the sea. However, the perpetual smog which is settled on this city, doesn't always allow you to actually see as much as you could. Non-greek-speaking visitors needn't worry. Virtually all locals speak alot, or a little, of english. I would highly recommend this hotel to future visitors to Athens.

“great place; great location”

We had a wonderful experience. The staff was attentive to every need. The, albeit small, rooftop pool was a wonderful break from a hot trek through Athens. Great location, within walking (or short cab ride)distance of many of Athens' attractions. Great shopping and cafes within minutes' walk at the very chic Kolonaki Square. The day before my departure, the staff called and asked me if they could help by making arrangements for a cab to take us to airport and did so.

“Great Location, Good Quality”

Great location in fashionable Kolonaki. You need to go up a hill to get to the hotel but it is worth it. Great view from the rooftop restaurant and pool.

“Suprisingly Impressive”

We actually were looking for a hotel that was near sites and the pier since we were heading for a cruise in a day. The hotel is situated up in a hilly area, but is close to evverything. We were able to walk around, felt safe and comfortable. the front desk was accomodating and helpful in our requests. Even though we did not see it a drawback, since the hotel is located on a hill some may find the walking a little strenuous, but worth it. We would go there again

“Very good value boutique hotel”

Very pleasant room and comfortable beds. Roof top bar and restaurant with a great view of Athens and the Acropolis. In thecentre of Athens but a bit of a climb up to the hotel if you are walking.

“favorite hotel in Athens”

Unbeatable city and Acropolis views, fantastic location for shopping and cafes, not-to-be-missed breakfast on the top floor balcony.

“A nice place to stay”

Attractive hotel on a hill in upscale Kolonaki. Pluses: walk to Kolonaki Sq, and the Benaki, Cycladic Art and Byzantine museums, small but nice rooftop pool; pricy but great "Balcon" restaurant, CD player in room, Acropolis view. Negs: rooms are small, pool closes at 6pm 2 days a week and 8pm rest of the week, "Sensa" spa seemed completely closed when I was there.

“Wonderful experience”

I really enjoyed St. George Hotel. The hotel staff were wonderful, very friendly and did al they could to make us comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable and the view of the city was specttacular. The only negative is the climb up the hill at the end of the day! I guess that is why the view is so nice so you can't have it both ways!
