“Great short break or stop over hotel!”

If you are planning to catch the bus to Ag. Constantinos (for ferries to skiathos etc.) or are only staying a couple of nights in Athens this is a great little hotel. Clean, very friendly, bar that closes but then seems to stay open all night?! and very convenient for the rest of the city.

“Luxury for the budget traveller”

Let me start with the one complaint I have: the walls in this hotel are paper thin. If you luck out with quiet neighbors, you'll be set. The front staff desk is extremely helpful and the included breakfast is more than complete with hot items (eggs, fries), cold items (cheese, beets), fruit, breads, coffee, juice and tea. We filled up on breakfast and were able to eat light lunches our whole trip! The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are modern (although the lobby is a smoking zone). In a safe and ultra convenient (although touristy) neighborhood right in Omonia Square, whose metro links up with three lines. I would definitely stay here again.

“It was excellent value in a great location!”

I arrived in the rain on a dark night. I was worried as I'd read in reviews about it being a "bad" area. There is plenty of police presence, shops are open late on weeknights and I went into a shop to make enquiry as to where the street was...very friendly shopkeeper. Only met nice people in that area. The Metro station is very convenient.... Hotel was a pleasant and clean haven after 3 weeks of bumming around Greece. Staff courteous and efficient. Highly recommend it!

“good value”

The value for money for this hotel was very good (you can pay much more for better) but we used this as a break from staying in hostels. The shower was in a bathtub with no curtain but instead had a half glass covering the tub, so it was very easy to get water all over the floor, but otherwise great for budget travellers and just a subway stop or 2 from the main tourist areas.

I enjoyed my short stay - it would have been better if the hot breakfast hadn't been lukewarm.

“Nice, clean, and safe”

The Alassia is right around the corner from Omonia Square, so it's incredibly easy to get from the hotel to anywhere in the city. As a single female traveller I felt very safe at the Alassia - if it had been any farther away from the Square I may not have felt as safe at night. My room was a small single, but sufficient, with plenty of closet space.

Ideally situated for city centre and all the attractions are in walking distance, if you prefer the metro station is just around the corner. Room clean and comfy and the breakfast superb, would definetly come again.

Just a block from Athens Metro and one metro stop away from Plaka, Monastiraki, Thission. Clean property with great air conditioning. Great staff and friendly attitude.

The Hotel situated in busy smal street of Athens does pay much attention when walking by, but when you come in you are greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who will go out of her way to help the guests staying at the hotel. the simplicity and cleanliness of the rooms add to the pleasantness of the stay. the hotel is well situated in Athens as it is very easy to go to the Market; the Plaka; the Acropolis or any other of the city eaither by foot or by the metro situated at only 2 minutes. in all an Hotel to keep in your books for future stay
