Amazing hotel!Posted Aug 17, 2014
Me and my partner stayed here for 7 days while visiting friends in Athens. We had a delightful time, the hotel is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained and very clean. The pool to the rear is a lovely place to chill out away from the city and nice to take a dip in. The standard double room was of a large size with a view over the pool area, bed was very comfortable. Reception staff, bar staff and cleaners were friendly and always willing to help. I would highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay while visiting Athens.

Great place in a lovely suburbPosted Jun 15, 2014
A bit difficult to find but once you're there you'll appreciate the green and the quiet compared to central athens. It's a good position if you also want to do daytours out of town as well. Its a 30 minute train ride into town but probably best to have a car to reach this hotel

Great location in KifisiaPosted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel had not received hotels.com reservation. they blamed hotels.com but noone was even close to apologetic. Rooms are lovely and hotel has a great location. Hotel is however in a desperate need of restoration (crumbling walls, broken shower head) we complained about our shower head, no reaction. Breakfast staff slow and no fun. Swimming pool was there, but closed for no reason, so no swimming even thought it was 28C. Service level is absolutely shocking bad. 1 star. If you need a quite night sleep and nice area this is a good hotel, dont expect anything more like maybe a drink for all the trouble or maybe a towel at swimming pool.

Welcoming hotelPosted Oct 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Have stayed in this hotel many times in the past, so am quite familiar. The rooms have since had a refurbishment and look and feel much brighter. Prices are now more favourable due to the economic situation, and the breakfast has also improved. Service is excellent. A lovely hotel and friendly helpful staff at all times of the day and night. Will definitely return in the future.

Great for family holidaysPosted Aug 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was our first family holiday to Greece and Kifisiia was our first stop. We chose Kifisia to get away from the hustle and bustle of down town Athens. Theoxenia Palace is an excellent hotel sitiuated in a lovely green suburb, close to all amenities and within a half hr taxi trip tp the heart of Athens. It is a popular hotel for international business travellers, however as a family with a young chilld we found it very accommdating. The staff here are the hotel's biggest assest, from the concierge, the breakfast staff right through to the lady that cleaned our room. One cannot put a price on their hospitality. The staff here are not only bilingual, most are highly educated.

Good option in KiffisiaPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Staff were very helpful and lovely clean pool
Cons: Power points that don't all work, old lift
Location: Good boutique shopping nearby
This hotel is a good option if you don't need or want to stay in downtown Athens. In summer it's cooler in Kiffisia too. Nice pool area, lovely staff, renovated rooms. By US, Australian and Asian standards if accommodation I wouldn't classify this as a 5 star experience - i'd rate it as a good 3 star to liw 4 star- but by Greek standards it is as good as you can get! Excellent free wifi - a must these days.
