In a terrible part of townPosted Oct 28, 2013
Location: Terrible location due to run down nature of the area since the economic collapse.
Though the facilities seemed promising at first glance, the area is very scatchy. Run down, have deserted, very smelly and dirty and prostitutes lining the streets at night. I would not recommend this property to future

Strip Club Joins rear of This HotelPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Close to the tram
Location: The beach is across the road, All other attractions are roughly 30 min away by tram
The rooms were clean, beds were stiff as a board. Hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel faces a very busy street that would be compared to an extremely busy hwy. To the rear of the hotel there is a strip club with cars coming and going all night long. I would recommend this hotel to people who are looking to rent a room by the hour. Not a place to bring your family!!!!

Excellent friendly and helpful front desk staff!Posted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Ocean view rooms and restaurant!
Cons: Mattress a bit hard, and for some reason, the shower drainage backed up a bit.
Location: Chat with the lady at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful.Eat fresh seafood at the restaurant across the street, and watch the sun set!
Excellent location, neat, modern and clean building! Close to train station!

Good beach hotel outside of AthensPosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Clean comfortable well-maintained hotel, reasonable price, convenient location outside Athens city.
Cons: Busy road outside.
Location: Across road from small beach and tram stop. 10 minute walking distance to shops and cafes
It's a clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were friendly, though we didn't have to ask them for anything. The standard double room was a good size, with a bath and shower, air conditioning and a balcony with a view of both the sea and the hills behind. The only down-side is that the double bed was two singles pushed together. You'd also need to take your travel kettle with you if you wanted a cup of tea. There is a busy main road outside the hotel but once in the room, there is double-double glazing to keep the sound out. A small bar and eatery across the street, but if you walk 10 minutes along the road behind the main road, there's a line of cafes and shops to while away an evening or the heat of the day. The beach across from the hotel is small but fine and used by friendly locals. The bus and tram both stop outside the hotel. Tram is about 45 minutes into central Athens.

VacationPosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Great value
Cons: Improve beds
Location: Near beach
Across from beach but next to strip club. Nice rooms but beds are like rocks. Great staff except the owner who can be rude.

Helpful and friendly staff, close to beachPosted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: We were very happy to be so close to the beach. It was also a perfect location for getting to the airport and close to all arractions.
Cons: Air conditioning was a little too cold.
Location: We were very close to all the major attractions. Saw the Parthenon, royal palace, changing of the guards, Olympic stadium, university, etc.
Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by the gentleman at the reception desk. It had the character of a boutique hotel; clean, welcoming, updated. The room was clean and updated with a large balcony with a table and chairs. As we had been travelling all day, with an early morning departure, we chose to stay at the hotel for room service. It was fast, efficient and the food was good. The beautiful beach was directly across the street. The wonderful thing about arriving in Athens was the cap on taxi fares. The cab drivers are also tour guides, and for an additional fee will take you to all the sites Athens has to offer. (Stellios was our driver and tour guide. He was amazing, informative, and did everything possible to make the most of our short stay).

Not what I expectedPosted Jun 27, 2013
Pros: The people who work there have the best customer service I have ever had . Adriana was amazing, she drew me detailed maps so I could find my way.
Cons: The bedding and comfort of rooms.
Location: No restaurant choices nearby..there is a sandwich shop on your way to the crosswalk to get to the beach and I grabbed baguettes there every morning.
The hotel was not what I expected, the pictures make it look much nicer than it is. The pictures are real (except for the bedding) but they give an illusion of being much nicer than it is. Look closely and you will see there are 6 lanes of highway between the hotel and the beach. The beach has tons of trash on it and is all rock. Loud music blares from loudspeakers with lots of curse words. The pool is tiny with only enough room for two chairs, so only two people at the entire hotel can relax by the pool. The bedding pictures are NOT accurate, no quilted down blankets, nothing comfortable at all...like laying on a box spring. Would I recommend this to a friend? no because they would and I feel I know my way around from that location now. The price is cheap enough that I could buy a thick blanket to put on the bed to make it more comfortable to lay on.

Close to beach but noisy and poor quality.Posted Jun 24, 2013
Pros: Staff & location to the tram and express airport bus.
Cons: Hotel cleaning service.
Location: No restaurants, no grocery shops. ok beach but it is dirty.
I stayed here for two times on average 3-4 nights when visiting Athens. The hotel looks lovely from the exterior but the rooms are drab, showers dirty and there is no telephone answering for incoming calls, so you will not receive calls. The maid visits the room to change towels, and make the bed but you do not get new bed linens even after 4 days which is nasty. There is a bar fridge but it does not chill so of no use. The television provides static images. The plus is that it is convenient to the tram and the sea because it is across for the beach, BUT there is a 6 lane road in front with rushing cars and trucks so the noisy is harsh. There are no nearby restaurants and if you stay in the Tropical hotel and eat in from the menu they order out your food and dish it for you at more than double price originally. Good for a one night stay... but look for hotels in Glyfada where the sea is clean and there is a lively night and day town feel and very nice and many restaurants.
