“Pleasantly surprised”
I didn't expect much, but I was surprised to find the room as nice as it was. Little to no road noise being back off the main road. Didn't check out the continental breakfast.

Hotel very clean and decent. The staff was extra nice. No problem with online resveration everything was ready when we arrived.

We only staid one night and the hotel was fine, the room comfy, I only disliked the strong smell to the cleaner they used... but it goes away as your nose gets used to it.

Super 8 in Athens is about what you would expect for the price. The room was clean and the bed wasn't bad, but the furniture in the room was very old and dated. But considering the price it was about what we expected. The breakfast area was very clean and the food good, fresh donuts and you could make your own waffles. Good locations right off of I-75. Only bad comment was the air conditioner was so noisy it sounded like it might vibrate off the wall.
“First room on the first stay during Thanksgiving week”
On the way to Va we stayed in Athens Super 8 the room lights wouldn't work and the wall plug cover was off and the maintenance looked shoddy the lady gave us a new room it was OK. On the way back we had a better room seemed satisfactory.
“Ok for enroute stay”
It was just a stop over enroute to Florida. There were several eating places within a short distance. We basically just ate & went to bed. The continental breakfast was very good (had a self do it waffle maker).
