Staff were most helpful and congenial

“Poor maintence”

Room was clean, and OK mostly. The windows in the whole place are quite dirty, due to leaking of the double pane construction; the dirt is inside which cannot be resolved, but the windows are very dirty on the inside surface, too . It appears that with the discoloration within, the staff decided a long time ago to stop cleaning ANY of the windows outside or inside. The doors at the lobby main entrance are quite soiled on the handles and push plates. There is a general impression that this hotel has long ago seen it's better day. We noted that the occupancy rate was very low, for good reason; I doubt many people would be back again. If you touch the door handles coming in be sure to wash your hands.

“Nice-Nasty or Shabby-Chic”

This hotel was only good enough to sleep 7 hours. There was only enough towels for 2 people and we were a family of 4. I asked the front desk for more towels and they stated that towels would not be available until 11 a.m. the next day and check out was at 11 a.m. The bathroom was dirty and the water from the shower would fill the tub.

“Not Impressed”

The elevator was unclean and had an odor to it. The pillows felt old, as if the spring had been worn out of them. Several TV channels came in very poorly and were unwatchable. I could not find ESPN. Channels did not match the channel card. One of the light bulbs in the room was out. The towels were worn pretty thin and had discolored spots; they were not bright white.
