“Satisfied”

We took this trip to Atlanta to take our child to the Georgia Aquarium for his birthday. The hotel was nice. The location of the hotel is great. It was right across the street from Lenox Square Mall. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the size of the room. It seemed quite small compared to other hotel rooms we have stayed in. Overall, I would stay here again.

Hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very accommodating. The hotel is located next to the Lenox Square Mall and is conveniently close to many restaurants in the Buckhead area. There is a Marta stop within easy walking distance if your plans take you outside of the Buckhead area. There is a shuttle service offered to take hotel guests to locations within 3 miles of the hotel. When we tried to have the doorman get us a cab one evening, he suggested the shuttle as an alternative. Because there is no specific shuttle schedule, making a dinner reservation in a timely manner is difficult and unreliable. A cab would have been a better, albeit more expensive, option. No free wi-fi in the rooms. Overall, the hotel was a good experience.

Good location close to the Lenox MARTA station. Good and friendly personnel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant and bar. Will definitely recommend to the others.

“Very good location if not renting a vehicle”

The hotel atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Overall the service staff was very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was very thorough in the room upkeep, however items dirtied from room service orders were often left in hallways for over 12hours which seemed very unsanitary when walking down corridors. Pool and patio was average in appearance, however grass off the patio of "Garden Level" was not tended to (very tall and vacant lot appearance). Train located only a few blocks from hotel which can be walked to or shuttle utilized for pick up and drop off. Otherwise can take the Train to go anywhere and everywhere with proper planning (which Hotel staff was very helpful with too)

“Great, not perfect.”

They had Starbucks signs but they only sold Starbucks from 6am until 10am. Also, Internet service is 13 bucks a day PER device. So if you have a laptop, iPad, iPhone, and iPod, you have to pay 13 bucks for each one!!! That is a rip-off. Also, there was a lot of noise from other people in the hallway. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. I do A LOT on the internet so I will probably look for a different hotel just because of that.

“Girls Getaway”

My daughter and I selected the Marriott Buckhead for our annual shopping weekend in Atlanta. It proved to be everything we needed. The Girl Getaway package is perfect for a wonderful overnight experience! Our only disappointment is the lack of a view from our room. We looked out to the air conditioning units on the roof.

“Odor in Room”

The main reason I gave the motel a 3 for cleanliness was the fact that when you walk in the room it had a terrible odor like body odor. It did not dissipate at all during our stay. The room seemed clean, but the smell was nauseating. Other than this, we had a very good experience.
