“Good location although I wasn't really familiar side of town/Small Room/Smaller Uncomfy Queen Bed”
Decent locale, although I'm not very familiar with that side of town. Lived in Atlanta previously for 6+ yrs. One of the smallest rooms I've ever been in, both biz & pleasure trip, I was alone. 'Smaller' Queen Bed, uncomfy for me, kind of what I like to refer as a "bubble" mattress.
“Great value for price”
Pretty nice hotel for the price. Room was nice and clean, had a balcony too! Not a super great view, but was cool to have. The only downside I found was the noise level, not from outside and I-285, but from within the hotel itself. The walls seemed like they were paper thin and I could hear every door opening/closing, any suitcase wheeling across not only our floor by our room, but the floor above. Also could hear the cleaning service on our floor and the floor above. That was a little annoying, but other than that, the comfort inn was pretty great. Can't wait to go back to Atlanta, and will probably stay here again.
“Totally Dissatisfied”
Very Dirty. Found insecs in my room. The comfortor has a yellow spot (like puke). Smelly and Stuffy. Gym was pathetic. The carpet all over the hotel was very bad and dirty. I moved after 2 nights.
“had a good stay there as a business trip”
Well located for my commute
“ood value for the price”
Well maintained hotel 1 exit west of the GA 400 off 285. Quiet inside. Well maintained and clean. Free breakfast was excellent and free newspaper. Only complaint was that at checkin in, they wanted to make a photocopy of my passport. I'd prepaid, given a credit card for any potential charges, so I didn't allow it, no reason for that. Other that that, very nice for the price, very clean, and in that location Atlanta and surrounding north atlanta easy to get to "Quickly"
“not impressed”
The front clerks made a mistake while trying to check us in, causing the computer (only one was working) to decline all of our credit cards. Once they figured out the problem (and after my husband and I frantically calling our credit card companies thinking identity theft had occurred!), it then took at least 40 minutes to solve the problems and get us checked in. Very time-consuming. Also, the carpets throughout the halls of the hotel and in the rooms were disgusting....stains everywhere. Will never stay in this hotel again.
“Won't go back”
Chris Ruth across the street so it can't be THAT bad right? WRONG. Guy in front of me checking in drinking a BUSH beer. Yes I booked a non smoking room but other rooms on the same hall had smoking so what was the point? NEVER will stay again! Sorry it was a good deal and nice location but if you are a non-smoker don't go because it smells smokey!
“Convenient, comfortable and accomodating”
I just 11 days at this hotel while I was doing a house search in the area. I arrived around 10 p.m., and Greta and Marlo welcomed me with a friendly greeting. I stayed in room 303, which faced the parking lot, and it was very quiet. I drove up to the local grocery store to stock for my stay; there are three close-by, Whole Foods, Publix, and a Krogers. There is also a Costco only 2 miles away. I saved money by eating in most days, because the room had a mini fridge and a microwave, but there are a lot of restaurants on Roswell Rd to choose from. Housekeeping came by around each day, and I had no complaints about the level of service they provided. My room was clean when I arrived, and it was cleaned every day that I was there. I only went to the breakfast once since I couldn't wake up early enough on most days. Breakfast is offered from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., but I was still on Pacific Time, usually didn't get dressed before it was over. From what I saw it looked like it could be quite filling. I choose not to eat pork or consume a lot of dairy, so I just stuck with the toast, because I didn't know how to work the waffle maker (someone did tell me how when I asked). The free internet service and use of the business center was very helpful to print a document. They don't offer a scanner or fax, but there is a Kinko's about 1 mile up the road. I need to go back to Atlanta for the closing on my house, and definitely plan to stay at this hotel on my next trip.
“Definitely a Great Stay , Will be Back!!!”
The hotel was conveniently located for full Atlanta access. The're are great places to eat within blocks of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bedding was soft with cotton and a good thread count. The pillows were very soft and better than we expected from a hotel. The TV was older, but we didn't come to Atlanta to watch TV.. It was actually the first time I slept all night at any hotel. We even slept through a terrible thunderstorm!
“Very Impressed”
If you visiting the Atlanta, Georgia are and you want to stay in the suburbs, I highly recommend the Comfort Inn Buckhead North. You won't be disappointed. Its conveniently located, where its not too far from Atlanta and close enough to shopping centers(malls), restaurant and right off the expressway. Of course they have good amenities including with your stay. I had just left a hotel in Chicago, IL , where you had to pay to use their pool, business center, parking, you name it!!! You can definitely start your day off with a nice breakfast as one of your amenities.
