“Not bad, but not good”

I'll get right to the main points: The room itself was clean. The bed was very comfortable and you can tell that the quality of work of the maid service is impressive given the circumstances. The bathroom is super duper tiny. The door to the bathroom couldn't be closed easily because the bathroom was so tiny that the door was hitting the protruding curved shower rod. Hope that gives you some idea of how much I'm not kidding here; My husband seemed to truly enjoy the service he received from the night clerk when we checked in, but the morning staff was plain rude; Apparently the staff at this motel don't have name tags. When two workmen were dropping off the fridge and microwave for the room (I assume it was another part of the remodeling), they had no identification to show they were affiliated with the hotel in any manner. It was unnerving; There were a lot of people hanging around on the outside of the motel at night when we came back to get some sleep. Typically it doesn't really bother me, but they were quite the rowdy bunch... and this was on a Thursday night.

Overall the hotel is just basic,by basic I mean not many frills. Breakfast was prompt and ready at 6am as promised.There is one computer for guest use and I can't honestly say if Wi-Fi was available but reception for my cell phone was awful in my room.Long story short you get what you pay for.

One of the two beds in the room had filthy sheets and dead fleas ... in a no pets allowed room. Overheard another customer complain to the manager about his room being really unclean. Don't mind tired facilities ... just hate filthy ones.

Can't say I was at all pleased. the staff was trying to be helpful, but the ice machine was brooken and the overall motel just looked more run-down than any of the other options nearby

The parking lot was loud at 2:00am. The front desk would not return an item I left in my room.

on the last night of our stay we had gotten back to the hotel late. when we pulled the sheets back there was dried blood stains on the sheet. my friend slept on the other side of the bed. in the morning around 8:30 someone knocked on the door. we asked who it was . the person then had opened the door with a key. we had the bar on the door so they couldnt get in to far. the person never announced who they were. when i went to check out i explained these problems to the lady at the counter she seemed more concerned about the sheets. she said that the blood on the sheets couldnt be their fault because they send their sheets out to be serviced. she then said that the blood was from us. the only statement that she made about the person coming in was that they didnt hear us. i have a problem with that . they knew that i would be leaving that morning. the house keeping should clean after the person checks out.
