Close to Stone Mt., Georgia

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Close to Stone Mt., many restaurants.
Cons: Newer appliances.
Hotel was average - good to stay if you're only sleeping there. Rooms were clean. Updated T.V.s, old refrigerator (had rust on the outside) and microwave, but it looked like the hotel was updating appliances. Close to many restaurants. Pool was clean, but very small. Hotel staff was very helpful and nice.

Hotel In General

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Quiet, inexpensive and 10 minutes close to wedding venue at the Atlanta Evergreen Resort in Stone Mountain which was absolutely beautiful! A must see!
Cons: See above experience
Location: Close to local shopping / eating areas and major highways.
Two night stay. Staff and management were friendly. Outside area clean and quiet. Not a lot of noise which is good. Condition of room was average. Walked in and could smell a slight odor coming from the carpet...should probably shampoo...would make for a better smell upon entering. Should also vacuum and clean chairs more...you could also see dust on the back end. Had toilet issues on last day...would not fully flush...bad suction...needed plunging. Upon leaving voiced my concerns...mgmt said they would take care of it. Overall average stay ok...ONLY if they above issues were taken care of.

The hotel help were terrific. The rooms are a little dated, but clean. The pool was great for kids.

OK ACCOMADATIONS FOR 1-DAY

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: JUST LOCATION IS WHAT I LIKE THE MOST
Cons: IMPROVE ON THE AMENETITIES IN THE ROOM, EVERYTHING SEEMS WORN, OLD & DINGY, MAY BE TIME TO UPGRADE, REMODEL
Location: PERFECT
THIS FACILITY IS OK FOR A VERY SHORT STAY. WE JUST NEEDED A PLACE FOR 1-NIGHT, BUT IT WOULD NOT BE ON MY HOT LIST FOR THE MONEY, I COULD HAVE STAY IN MUCH BETTER, BUT IT WAS LAST MINUTE & CONVIENT. CAN'T SAY I WOULD or WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, IT MAY BE OK FOR SOME & NOT FOR OTHERS. EVERYTHING SEEMS WORN & OLD, MAY BE A GOOD TIME TO UPGRADE ON SOME ITMEMS SO THE ROOMS DON'T SEEM SO DINGY & DARK.

Great hotel for the price.

The manager was very welcoming and checked on us daily as we came and went. Hotel and room was in great condition, cleaned daily. Upon leaving I almost left my daughter's blanket and the housekeeper ran it out to me before we left. I will definitely recommend this hotel and if in the area again will be staying here.

Short-stay

Posted Jan 18, 2014
Pros: Decent rate
Cons: Hotel professionalism
Location: ATL airport within 15-20 miles
I stayed at this hotel for a week (due to the snow storms) in Atlanta. The front desk attendant (male) kept coming to my room, knocking on the door and when I would answer, he would look all around the room. Now, there was no suspicious activity going on...he was just a creep. Also, when I was leaving the hotel, that same clerk followed me in his vehicle. I would not stay at this hotel again.
