I would not select this hotel again

I think I would get a better hotel for that price.

Double tree

The valet parkers were excellent but the receptionist desk staff was terrible very rude and impatient. The staff took over an hour to bring us extra wash linen and they have "quite hours" on the weekends would only stay as a last resort nice view from balcony but wouldnt be my first choice

Wonderful staff! Wonderful hotel

We had a wonderful stay...about 4 hours after check out I realized I had forgotten some very valuable items in the room. My items were recovered immediately by the front desk staff! This was truly an awesome hotel experience!

An excellent choice

I'm so glad we stayed at the Doubletree. The location could not have been more central to downtown Atlanta. It was about a 3 minute walk to the train station for/from the airport, and was surrounded by great restaurants. The room was especially comfortable--very comfy mattress and perfect pillows. One of our neighbors was being very loud at 1 in the morning, I called the front desk and complained, and it was taken care of immediately. There was no more noise from them after that. I will stay at this hotel again. They even give you a warm cookie at check in!

The photos online are not accurate.

The staff was nice. The carpet stained and outdated. When we entered the assigned room someone had already been in it evidenced by the wine glass on the desk, used soap and towel in bathroom, dirty toilet, and rumpled bedding. They did give us another room but if it hadn't been so late at night I would have checked out and found another hotel. Overall, it is an older building that needs major updating and cleaning. Only saving grace was that the beds were actually comfortable.

Close to most attractions

the hotel was walking distance to most things. The only things I truly didnt like were that you had to pay so much for parking($30 per day) and the breakfast($20). There wasn't a microwave or a fridge in the room either, but that wasn't a big deal! Overall a decent place to stay!

Nice hotel

Pros: The location is great. It's an easy walking distance to CNN, aquarium, coke and the downtown.
Cons: The bathroom tiles.
Location: It's accessible to everything including CVS.
The bed sheets are great & comfortable. Bathroom tiles needs upgrade . It looks filthy. We didn't have a good window view.
