Mostly clean hotel in a not-so good ATL area.Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: I like that the room and beds are very clean, and that they have outlets on the bed stand, and also that the rooms are well lit.
Cons: The hotel room that I'm in can be improved by paint touch up in the bathroom. The paint are flaking off.
Location: There is no gems and things to do near by!
The hotel & staff are mostly nice. However, the hotel is in a not-so good area of downtown ATL. Most of the stores are closed and boarded up. Not a very good for shopping and not much to do. Lastly, I found persistent ants around the tub in my hotel room. I had to move to another room. The restaurant is good w/ friendly staff, but it is pricey than I expected. One can find better meals for the price.

Quick stop in ATLPosted Feb 19, 2015
The room was lovely. The bed and pillows were simply amazing. We had some trouble with the shower head, it kept falling but we worked with it. It was in a great location a 5 minute walk from the restaurant where we had reservations. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff forgot to clean my room twice in five days of my stay! And the service was quite average.

Very pleasant stayPosted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Great easy walk to the GWCC. Room had a balcony, which would be nice in warmer weather.
Cons: The restauant menu ls very limited, and if you have food alergies (wheat in my case) there was nothing safe to eat. beyond basic salads.
Location: I walked around the downtown area, easy walking, trolleys, publick transportation available. I did not find many restaruant choices.
The staff were very friendly hand helpful throughout. They all seemed glad to be at work, and glad to help the guests.

really???Posted Feb 11, 2015
I have never been to a hotel where when you pay for your room you also have to pay for parking then it's $30 per night so I rode uber then I get to my room it's nice at first glance but further examination floors are dirty bed covers stained AC/heater broken. I will never stay at the double tree again

Nice hotel but lacking in amenities.Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Very pleasant staff. They were always ready to help/
Cons: Definitely the WiFi access and put a fridge in every room.
Location: The location was perfect for our stay. We were right at the venue we attended. And there was plenty to do as far as sight seeing and shopping.
Our stay was pleasant but the rooms are really tight when you have four people. Would be nice to have access to WiFi instead of being charged for it by the day. Really feel WiFi should come with the expense of the room.
