“Perfect for the occasion”
Had to be at the French Consulate to help my daughter obtain her student Visa for a study abroad. The hotel is conveniently located to the Consulate, had a shuttle service, allowed us to keep our car in the parking garage there after we had checked out, and the whole stay was very nice (including breakfast).
“Fix the sofa bed!”
A suite that sleeps four should have comfortable beds for all four. The double beds were fine but the sofa bed was flattened, creaky, and bowed in the middle and even the kids shunned it! Also, I was completely confused by the lack of any towel bars in our suite. Where do you hang your wet towels? We used the back of the chairs because there was nowhere else. On the plus side: beautiful decor, helpful front desk staff, and very polite servers and hosts at the free breakfast buffet. The kids loved the pool and the indoor fish pond, and overall our stay was very pleasant.
“Great hotel, great location, great value!”
Great Buckhead location! Good value with the full breakfast included! Also knowing Embassy Suites- the two separate rooms are awesome for families, or just extra room to spread out!
“Great place to stay”
I was very pleased with my stay here. Staff was very curtious and professional. Clean room, prompt service, hot breakfast, and free drinks. My only complaint is the fitness center. It was too small of an area to work with.
“Nice Hotel”
I liked this Embassy Suites. I have never stayed at one before but found it very nice. It is independently owned by another company and is overseen by Hilton but it is in nice shape. The rooms were nice and very clean, serviced every day, and comfy. 2 decent side (32"?) LCD TVs, plenty of lights, 3 sinks, and 2 room areas (living area and sleeping area) separated by doors. The hotel has a free happy hour every evening from 5:30 to 7:30 (not high shelf) that has liquors, beer, and wine (tips are appreciated) along with chips/salsa/snack food. I did not try the breakfast but smelled it and it did smell good. The area is very nice. Buckhead is I believe the 6th most affluent place in the US and has a lot of "old money" there which is evident by the mansions and Bentleys you will see. The area feels safe even at night if you so choose to walk anywhere, lots of places around to eat and for entertainment. There is a free shuttle that will take you and pick you up within a mile of the hotel (driver tips are appreciated). Parking at the hotel is average for a city at night, valet is just a tiny bit more. You will need to put a deposit on the room when you go in but will get it back. The staff were all friendly and helped with anything they could. This area is a bit more expensive but with the safer feeling environment and the nice people all around I think it was worth it. I would definitely stay here again. if you get the chance Lenox mall is very close and was interesting.
“Good hotel in good area”
Very comfortable hotel in very good condition in a nice part of Atlanta. It looks as though its been redone. Its a bonus to have Ruth Chris's on site.
“Buckhead stiopover”
This well-appointed, well-run hotel had everything we wanted, from a decent restaurant downstairs through to a guests' laundry where we could re-organise ourselves after a long road trip. It was comfortable, restful place to stay.
“This Embassy is not Sweet”
Terrible first impression as non-English speaking bellhops race to take your car, and make it difficult to self-park. Rude. Garage spaces more suited to go-carts. Room reeked of disinfectant on arrival. Had to open room door to get odor out. Window slit in room literally one inch by 24 inches. Front desk said no one had been ill, that's just how they smell after cleaning. Truly awful. Still, room had a very dirty, dingy, dark aura. Bathtub/shower slick as glass. Had two rooms and they were equally dingy. Breakfast fair. Room service good. Other staff adequate to good. Construction all over the area making access tricky. Will not stay here again.
“nice stay”
Hotel was very nice and room was clean and quiet at night great breakfast as always only thing that i didn't like was paying for internet and parking should be included for the price.
“AMAZING hotel!”
Great, friendly service. Free endless cocktails for the manager's reception (which we knew nothing about til we checked in and they told us that they always do this) and a DELICIOUS breakfast cooked to order. The room was perfect for the occasion- lots of space, affordable price, neat and clean. I highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to going back.
