Nip and tuck needed.Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: The excellent location was what drew me to this hotel. Again I must credit the staff for their very pleasant reception and services.
We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to a concert venue. Overall it was okay. It is in need of some minor maintenance though. There were slits in some of the wall paper and stains on the wall paper and floor of the bathroom. The bathtub had a what appeared to be a permanent black stain, and the tile grout was moldy. I am not a "Nanna Neatnick" but a professional establishment should be held to higher standards. The staff was gracious and accommodating, no faults there!

Everything within walking distancePosted Oct 16, 2014
Really nice hotel recommended to anyone visiting Atlanta. Sucks having to pay 30 dollars for parking but overall we enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was really good.

Embassy is okay!Posted Oct 13, 2014
The hotel was okay but not what we expected. We went as a family of 5 and was expecting seperately rooms. The size is not conducive for the stated capacity. The view of the city was amazing!

Overall Good HotelPosted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Decreasing the parking fee (even $20) and updating the rooms.
Location: Close to many attractions.
This hotel is ok but I have stayed at much nicer Embassy Suites. I don't think I would stay there again though. For the money, the room was very plain and a little dated. The hotel seemed cramped but I guess that's what one would expect staying downtown. The $30 parking was a little excessive. Didn't have much tissue or wash cloths in the bathroom but the staff was very quick at bringing more. Breakfast was good. Overall an "OK" experience.

Overall great hotelPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Close to Philips Arena and the CNN tower.
Cons: The check in turn around time. They were inundated with conferences that week and my suite wasn't ready when I arrived at 4:30 pm.
Location: The hotel is in Centennial Park. Lots of eateries nearby within walking distance. Downtown ATL is a great city.
I loved the layout if my suite. I only needed a king sized bed. I loved the cleanliness and feel of the lobby, my suite, Ruth Chris restaurant (where complimentary breakfast was served) and the gym. The suite is very spacious with plenty of seating. I'd stay here even if it were for a staycation only visit.

Needs renovationPosted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Good customer service
Cons: Cleanliness and renovations
Location: Tons to do in that area, great for people visiting.
The staff was very pleasant from the valet to the front desk attendant. The price is a little too much, considering the hotel needs a face lift. The outside of hotel and common areas are ok, but the hallways and hotel rooms need to be renovated ASAP!!! The carpet in the hallways have huge stains on them and the area smells stale. The sofa in the room had stains on it and the tile in the bathroom was old and covered with mildew.

Not what I expected... but i'd do it againPosted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: The location is GREAT!
Cons: Update rooms with proper cleaning and the bathrooms with a "makeover". Keep the pool free of debris.
Location: Walking distance to the aquarium, Georgia Dome, park, museums, eating establishments etc.
The pool was not very clean. The room was not as clean as it should have been. You could tell that the room hadn't been vacuumed properly in some time. Dirt and lint had built up in the corners and along the baseboards. The tiles in the bathroom were old not as clean as they could have been. The tub needed refinishing. The manner the included breakfast is served does not allow you to get cooked to order eggs/omelette at the same time (in the same line) you can get your side dishes. You will have to decide what you want to eat cold. That said, this is not the best Embassy Suites I've been to but the beds are clean and comfortable. The hotel also makes up for its short comings with its location. I am pretty sure the location is the reason the cost is so high.
