“Treated as family at a hotel.”

Upon arrival we were met by a man in the parking lot welcoming us. The doors were held open each and every departure and arrival--We were met by an umbrella when it was raining. The park ambassador was helpful and very efficient-- Everyone was friendly and had time to talk and be interested in you.Our stay was wonderful!!!

Everything and everyone was excellent. Very well cared for and relaxing. Only recommendation would be to add a family style restaurant open during the day. Smaller meals can only be gotten by room service (which was OK)

The well designed and appointed hotel is strategically located in the Stone Mountain State Park overlooking Stone Mountain Lake. It is convenient to Atlanta, so that, one can enjoy the many ammenities of the large city, but return to the secluded setting of the park to enjoy golf and other outdoor activities.

“Great family getaway”

Located inside Stone Mountain Park with gorgeous view of lake and mountain. Excellent place to take the family for a getaway weekend. Laser show at Stone mountain was awesome. Golf, hiking, biking and food all without leaving the park.

Had a extra day to spend in Atlanta while traveling and didn't know where to go so decided to try Stone Mountain. Was so happy with our decision. It was off season (late September and during the week) so there were not many people around and many attractions were closed in the park. But the resort was beautiful and so relaxing. Such a nice get away from the busy city life. The only complaint we had was when we had supper at the sports bar our bill came to $110.00 and we thought that was a bit high for just the two of us for each having a steak and two drinks. The main restaurant was a buffet and that is really not our style. After supper we could relax and visit by a fire the pool. I would highly recommend the resort and the Stone Mountain Park.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. We had a few problems with our room but everything was corrected. They have the best pools we have ever been in. They actually had it very heated which at some hotels it says heated but the water is cold. The pool here was so nice and warm. They also had an indoor pool. The restaurants at the hotel were too expensive so we didn't eat their. One night we had a hard time finding parking because of a wedding party and some other parties but that was only one night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
