Not the greatestPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Physically the hotel is a little rough around the edges - carpeting is wrinkled and frayed from excessive use or wet vac cleaning. Rooms have a very institutional feel to them (plastic vinyl/upholstery on recliner), breakfast is geared to grab and go. Staff was a bit indifferent compared to other places we stayed. Overall feeling was more of a dormitory than a hotel. Room appeared to be clean but had a strong smell of clorox in the bathroom. I would stay again if needing temporary housing for me alone, but do not recommend this for a traveler with family.

Better than epectedPosted Jul 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
I read others' comments before our stay, which were mostly negative. But I was surprised to find that the hotel was much better than others had reported. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all rooms, even the cheapest, had kitchenettes. VERY affordable for what you get. Easy to find. Within walking distance of a convenience store/gas station, and Waffle House. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very accomodating. I became ill while traveling, and even though they have a strict check out time, due to my illness I was allowed to remain in the room past the 11 o"clock time, which was a great comfort, given I needed an extra hour. We will stay there again! The breakfast was smart, geared towards a grab and go, but this is ok, as there is a Waffle House across the parking lot. It is near everything. I had to go to an urgent cae, and got my prescription and a Starbucks coffee all within an hour or so because of convenience of location.

Pleasant stayPosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
my only complaint was that we were on the second floor and unfortunately our upstairs neighbor seemed to enjoy pacing their room at midnight. The ceiling was very thin. Other than that, the staff was very pleasant and friendly. The room was comfortable enough. And the price was right.

Pros: Cost and location
Cons: No shampoo or regular room attendant. Kind of bare bones but inexpensive. Neighborhood is OK. I did not feel real comfortable in the parking lot.
Location: Waffle House and convenience store next door.
Room was comfortable. Kid of a real budget place. Clean, not run down seems recently updated. A lot of foot traffic around the parking area made me a little uncomfortable.

Don - Your review for our hotel was recently brought to my attention. I am so pleased that you found our hotel to be clean. Still, it upsets me to hear that you were feeling uncomfortable traveling in and out of the hotel due to the amount of foot traffic in our parking lot. I am sorry for your experience. Please know, guest safety is our number one priority. With that in mind, we take your comments very seriously and will take action as needed to ensure all of our guests feel safe and comfortable while staying at our hotel. The staff and I appreciate your comments, as it will only help us to improve. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.
