“Fairfield is the place to stay in Atlanta”

friendly staff. decent breakfast. location is very convenient if visiting Atlanta. public transportation is very accessible. big mall is 2 blocks away from the hotel.

“Atlanta”

Hotel staff friendly, location of hotel perfect for my business, conveniently close to major mall and shopping. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Wireless internet good, but signal a bit weak on our wing, but just workable. I Would use hotel again.

“had a great time”

So glad I chose Fairfield Inn in Sandy Springs. Easy access off the highway and just 2 blocks from mass transit. Couldn't have asked for a better situation. Will definitely go back next time in Atlanta.

Getting around

Having never used public mass transportation before, we were a little anxious about trying this. but the close proximity of our hotel to the mass transportation encouraged us to try it. Wow!!!! So glad we did. We didn't move our car for 3 days. Thoroughly appreciated and utilized the MARTA system for our 3 days in Atlanta.

“Will definately stay there again!!”

The staff was extremely friendly. Always willing to help out, smiles on their faces, just a great feeling. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very nice! Wasn't expecting so many choices for breakfast. Was within walking distance of the MARTA, and a grocery store both really nice to have close by since we didn't have a car. The pool and hot tub were great to have. Will definately stay there and recommend this hotel to others!

Area recommendations

There is a great restaurant a short cab ride from the Lindbergh Center MARTA stop called Fat Matt's Rib Shack that was just delicious! By the CNN center in Downtown by the Dome a restaurant called Taco Mac was very good as well. We have stayed at the Perimeter Center twice now, and it is a good location, close to shopping, nice area and friendly people.

The MARTA is very easy to use, very good signage. Very good if staying in the Atlanta area.

“Great Value!”

We took a weekend trip to Atlanta and needed a hotel that was close to a Marta train station so we could ride it to the baseball stadium. This hotel was only about a block away, which was very convenient. Everything went smoothly and we plan to stay there again the next time we're in town. They have a decent continental breakfast with many choices, and the pool area looked nice, although we didn't use it like we hoped. The only complaint we had was that we had specifically requested a room far away from the elevators. We get to our room, and it was right next to the elevator. The lady at the desk was nice about it and gave us a different room, although the second room was only 2 doors away from the elevator. Our guess is that our type of room wasn't the rooms that were at the other end of the hall. Overall, we were pleased with the service and quality of the rooms.

Area recommendations

We love staying in the Perimeter Center area because it's a nice part of town where we feel safe, it's close to many restaurants and shopping, and yet just a short drive to the main attractions of Atlanta.

Getting around

We used the Marta transportation for the first time on this trip and we were very pleased. It was cheap and made it very easy to get to where we needed to go, without us having to know how to get there. Just make sure you allow extra time to get there, as it has many stops.

Shopping

The Perimeter Mall is about a mile or so away from the hotel, as well as several other big name stores within the area.

Dining

Highly recommend The Cheesecake Factory, which is located in the Perimeter Mall. Depending on what time of day you go, plan on a possible wait. If you haven't been there before, they have a large menu with several different types of food to choose from, as well as a large dessert menu.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Nothing fancy, but all the things your expect from a room, great water pressure in shower, lots of channels on tv, alarm clocks that work and mirrors that don't fog up.

“Nice place, I'd stay again.”

Nice, comfy hotel with very comfortable beds and goof feeling bedding. A little cozy, but had all that I needed. The most varied and well equipped breakfast that I've seen in a long time. They have a cute indoor pool and fitness center, too.

“A Business Traveler's Stop”

A BUSINESS TRAVELER'S STOP. Efficient, close to local malls, restaurants, & grocery stores. A quick shot to downtown Atlanta via the MARTA (but does require either a taxi ride or very long walk which is not completely paved). The rooms require some updating, but as I stated - PERFECT for the quick trip and if you catch a good rate it is economical.

Perimeter or Buckhead. More than enough to keep an out of towner busy.

“My daughter's first flight”

The entire experience was delightful from the moment we entered the hotel. we were greeted warmly at the front desk, our room was cozy and clean. the housekeeping staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. I met some wonderful ladies at breakfast. overall the stay at Fairfield made our vacation to Ga much more pleasurable.

There is so many different areas and so much to do I suggest trying to see them all.

Shopping

There are so many malls there both indoor and outlet. we tried to see them all. we had to get extra luggage to bring every thing we had purchased home. the savings were phenomenal.
