Pros: The room was nice and spacious, the linens were clean and the bed comfortable. That was much appreciated after a long travel day.
Cons: The breakfast offerings in the morning were better than most places but he pre-cooked eggs were overcooked and not edible.

Wait until lobby construction is finishedPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: Location is good near I-75, mall and businesses.
Cons: Finish lobby construction as soon as practical.
Location: Location is convenient - near I-75, mall, restaurants and businesses.
We stay at this Hampton location often. Normally it's great. Right now with the lobby construction it's somewhat messy. In addition, parking can be a problem.

Very Disappointed!Posted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: The front desk staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful.
Cons: When I booked the reservation, I should have been told of its condition. AND the POOL CLOSED situation.
Location: Excellent location for access to the city, as well as many major highways.
I am a devoted Hampton Inn client. It is my preferred hotel. This facility, however, was undergoing renovation and was NOT what I thought a Hampton Inn should be. The pool was also closed.I was met in the lobby by a wall of plastic sheeting..Carpet frayed, generally run down...Had I had guests or my children with me, I would have been embarrassed by this facilty. VERY unhappy. The only bright spot was the front desk help. I have had some bad Expedia experiences like this, and am considering using other booking sites. Expedia gets great prices.Too bad the facilities are rarely up to par. Explains the cheap prices...

Nice, CLEAN hotel close to the mallPosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: I liked breakfast from 6-10am daily. The waffles were awesome. :)
Cons: The door to my room slams loudly when you close it without pulling it. That's the only thing I'd say could be improved upon.
Location: Cumberland Mall is literally a block away. If you don't have a car and don't mind walking, it is within reasonable walking distance.
I particularly like that this hotel cleans and changes sheets and duvets after each guest. Not all hotels do this, believe it or not. Everything about my experience at this hotel met my expectations. Nothing mind-blowing, but nothing disappointing either.
