Great location for aquarium and Coke museum

Loved it! Staff awesome, best housekeeping ever! Had wonderful breakfast and shuttle!! We got a call that we were to loud around 8pm on a Friday, which was odd because I did not think we were that loud, walls may be thin, but one call no other issues...definitely staying again!!!

Close to Georgia Tech

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Close to Georgia Tech campus. Decent room, good rate
Cons: The hotel info does not tell you that it is Valet only parking for $18/day. I probably would have stayed anyway but I don't like that kind of surpris
Hotel was fine. Room clean, staff pleasant enough, hot breakfast good.

Pros: Everything. Staff was very helpful. Hotel was clean. My car was safe. Breakfast was awesome.
Cons: We shouldnt have to pay for parking
Location: Location was great. Near by was the world of coca cola building, centennial park, the aquarium and many other places were within walking distance.
I loved staying at this hotel. The room was clean, had a great view of downtown Atlanta. The staff was friendly and had my room ready and waiting, since I was arriving in the middle of the night. I would definately stay here again.

Hotel - near many Atlanta hot spots

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Pros: free breakfast, convenient location, offered free shuttle (within 2 mile radius)
Cons: Cons: professionalism of staff (they were louder than the guests at times) & better communication of changes (requested a double, but not available).
The hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance of many major attractions. If you rent a car, then please be prepared to pay eighteen dollars / day for parking. The hotel does offer a free shuttle which will drop you off anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel. The breakfast was good and it was a nice hotel amenity that you don't often find these days. We requested a double room via expedia, but when we arrived at the hotel we were unhappy to see that we had been placed in a single room. They told us that the hotel was currently overbooked and so there wasn't any double rooms available. The front desk person rudely pointed out that your reservations states that "you prefer a double bed", not that you require one. One of my friends had to sleep on a roll-a-way bed which had seen better days. The bed had a huge dip in the middle which caused her to have an uncomfortable night's sleep. Meanwhile, Sharon was the only shining star amongst the hotel staff. She assisted us the following day with getting one of the vacated double rooms. We were very happy with her service recovery efforts and as a result, she received a very nice tip. Overall, my family & I really enjoyed our trip to Atlanta. The hotel was ok for a budget friendly establishment, but I would recommend spending a little more money for a hotel that has a little better customer service.

Dont stay on first floor, but still stay here!

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: free shuttle, nice breakfast, sister hotel with pool, clean bathrooms, nice bedding, friendly staff
Cons: dehumidifier on the first floor, optional valet.
Location: Great downtown location, Close attractions like World of Coke, CNN, Aquarium, lots of great restaurants
We stayed at this hotel twice on our way flying into ATL and flying out. The first time we stayed on the 6th floor and our experience was great! The staff was always friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean, the bathrooms were spotless and nice, the breakfast was better than your typical bagels and fruit. The second time we stayed we stayed on the first floor. This wasnt as comfortable. Because its the ground floor we heard traffic all night from the buses and cars. Also the humidity level on the first floor is VERY high. So much that the sheets and carpet almost feel wet. So just make sure you dont have to stay on the first floor and you will love it. Also there is an $18 valet fee that you cant avoid. The guys that work valet are very friendly and it is nice to just pull up and get out but be aware of that before you book. One perk to offset that is a free hotel shuttle (within a 2 mile radius). We stayed here because we got a city pass and wanted to do all the downtown things like Aquarium, World of Coke, CNN and so on. You can take the free shuttle to these locations and save yourself on the heavy parking fees downtown! So if you figure that into your valet fee its not actually much. Also the hotel has a deal with a cab company (checkers maybe?) and they will take you to the zoo and back for free! Another tip is the sister hotel down the road that has an awesome indoor, outdoor pool and hot tub. You can go swim there for free. Again use the shuttle for this.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Shuttle pick up at airport.
Location: Walking distance to CNN building, World of Coca Cola, and the aquarium. Short shuttle ride to Atlantic Station for shopping.
First visit to Atlanta. Staff at hotel very helpful in assisting to get around. Used shuttle at hotel a couple times. Hotel was walking distance to attractions we wanted to see. Very enjoyable stay!
